The hotel has an excellent location for Bulguksa temple and the Seokguram grotto. It has a golf course pool and other leisure facilities. Otherwise there is nothing in the near vicinity as it it far from central Gyeongju. Overall standard is good and clean although slightly dated. Breakfast mostly Korean food and quite expensive.
Thank you for your reviews. As you mentioned, our hotel is a little far away from Bomun Tourist Complex, a central Gyeongju city. But the hotel is located to close Bulguksa temple with 3 min distance by car and you can enjoy real Gyeongju city. Appreciate to your stays again and we hope to see you again in your next visit.
Hotel is DEFINITELY not 5*! Bathroom has rusts, no night stand table at all! Carpet dirty. The room is a dump!
Thankyou for staying with our hotel, we are sorry for serve you inconvenience.
we will care more on management and service skills
Please allow us to serve you with high quality service and product in the near future. Thank you.
Close location to Bulguska
staff can speak in English and Chinese, newly renovated and hotel near bus stop 5min walk.
when we check in the staff can speak well in English and Chinese and they all helpful give us a lot of information. And the hotel near bulguksa temple 5min walk and the hotel is renovated not mentioned as old building. And the viewing is beautiful nice and comfort stay.
Staff had difficulty with English”
Convenience store and spa
Enjoyable, but found the meals too expensive. The quantity of portion of any meal was too small, and very poor value for money.
Overpriced, under maintained. Avoid this hotel.”
Staff. Staff. Staff.
The staff welcomed us warmly, and that was the last good thing about this hotel. It is too far from anything except Bulguksa, and doesn't offer any facilities nearby. The room itself was comparable in upkeep to a common love motel, and stank of cigarette smoke. The water from the taps was a trickle, and the thin walls meant we could hear everything from neighboring rooms. I do not recommend this stay at all.
nice budget hotel~”
price, service, clean room.
The room was very clean, and the view from the hotel was very beautiful ! ^^ enjoyed the staying with my family ~ It was recommendable hotel after all ^^
Old but comfortable hotel near major attractions”
Close to many historical sites.
Unfriendly Staff, Tired&Worn Hotel Needs Updating”
close to temple, wireless internet worked well
Stained carpet and furniture, beds uncomfortable. Bathroom clean but tired which was pretty representative of entire facility. Staff at front desk unfriendly and seemed disturbed that we interrupted them on both check in and out, we asked for a copy of final bill which they refused to provide. We did not eat in the dining room, the breakfast was a buffet for 20,000 KRW per person which we thought a bit expensive since we had a full dinner for 3 of us in a nice restaurant in town for 33,000 KRW the night before. Convenient location to temple 10 minute walk.
Perfectly located for Bulguksa and Seokguram”
Staff didn't bother us, room price was of reasonable value and it wasn't too busy.
We checked in quite late on the first night. Bit of a language barrier as they seemed to be catering for Japanese tourists more but not a huge problem. Very convenient for the major tourist attractions. The staff were pleasant and not at all intrusive. Lobby was well maintained but the rooms are close to needing renovation. Comfortable stay.
it was horrible”
=first of all, they didnt know about my reservation which made me feel quite unpleasant. the hotel is too much overpriced and outdated. the hotel room smelled mould. so tiny and not worthy of staying there, even if you want to go to bulguksa, i dont want to recommend this hotel. this was the worst hotel ever!
Good location but old hotel, need major upgrading ”
Great view, good location
Comfortable but dated”
Large room, next to main temple, golf course.
A fair way out of town amongst the greens of the golf course. Stayed out of season so pool was drained. Our room was huge and very comfortable. Breakfast 'buffet' is a rip-off; not a buffet but a poorly cooked meagre selection of food. Eg. Continental breakfast is three pieces of bread. The staff don't speak much English so were unable to be very helpful.
traditional korean hotel at perfect location”
feeling of solidity and experience
The rooms are spacious and quiet, there was neither notable noise from inside nor from outside the building. Much appreciated the very comfortable hard mattress, the big mirrors, the wifi, the modern TV with plentiful channels, the experienced and professional staff, the convenience store inside the hotel. There are many things to explore in the vicinity and in the hotel, but unfortunately stayed only one night and had not much time.
