This is the 2nd time visit Kuching and my friend is local.
We choose this resort due very central and really convenience for us.
There nice and local food around.
Thank you for your stay at our lodge and we hope you are comfortable staying in our lodge.
we are committed to improving the quality of our services to continue to be competitive.
We hope to see you again.
Not suitable for Muslim”
Personally i dont think this lodge is suitable for a Muslim. When you checked in you will see many signs of christianity. There is also a bible in our room. And this place is very lousy.
Value for Money”
Ideal location, situated at Kuching Waterfront, walking distance to many tourist attractions nearby. You can find various local food, cafes and pubs.
We enjoy it so much with the special decorations. Friendly staff and clean
Old retro hotels”
Only the location is good but just old buildings.
worth the money”
a gem of a budget hotel. the rooms were spacious for a budget hotel. very clean, comfortable beds, clean sheets and towels. the rooms were cleaned everyday. the toilet was spacious and clean too. the hotel is a Chinese style heritage home. the breakfast is spartan (bread with condiments ie jam, margarine, peanut butter) and coffee /tea. location is superb just opposite the riverfront. many eateries within walking distance. will definitely stay again. only downside is the non-existence of wifi.
Perfect spot for Kuching”
Very nice b&b, located at the waterfront of Kuching river. Kitchen facilyties mavailable. Breakfast is just toast and jam, but you bring whatever you like and store in the fridge.
Personell is very friendly and helpful.
See my other review.”
Great location and ambiance”
I chose the Kuching Waterfront Lodge especially for its location and local Sarawak ambiance, and in that regard, I was very satisfied. It was great being able to walk out of the front door right onto the waterfront and also be within walking distance of most places I wanted to go. I stayed for a total of four nights in early August in two different rooms. I must mention that I booked a double room and never received one, being given a twin-bed room both times. I understand that the Rainbow Music Festival was approaching and that the hotel was fully booked especially at the end of the first week of August, but when you reserve something, you expect to get it. Also, the wi-fi in this hotel is downright awful in the rooms and needs to be remedied. It's not fun leaving the cool air-conditioning in the room to have to use wi-fi in the humid lobby or common areas. That being said, if I ever find myself in Kuching again, I'd probably stay again.
Nothing great but location was good”
Toilet wasnt great.. Toilet sink tap had no water, bed sheets wasnt the right size.. Bedsheets was smaller than a queen bed..
Great Location and Affordable”
Clean new toilet, water pressure was very strong which is always a plus point. However in the triple room we stayed on the 1st floor, the queen sized bed mattress was in a bad condition. My husband and son couldn't sleep entire two nights. Gave them backaches the next day. Also there was a big American cockroach where the AC is. I'm totally terrified of cockroaches, so luckily I only saw it on the day of check out. The staff are very helpful and friendly.
Nice location and clean room”
Perfect location in Kuching. Friendly staff and comfy bed. Good value for money
Value for Money and Comfort”
I went last year in december 2015. Just to inform the rest of the viewers, the place is clean, and also the bathroom since I am abit particular.
The food are easily accessible. My boyfriend and I walked a lot. There are many bars located at the back of the alley and there is a good place for massage around. All in walking distance. Definitely will go again....
