The location of the hotel is nearby Surat station, & thus in a traffic-prone zone. The parking space is just enough on the road. The room (Superior category) is not fitting to what a 3000-4000 bucks room should be like - its infrastructure is highly outdated- the lighting & the bathroom. The food menu is overpriced. However, the breakfast next morning was sumptuous & delightful. Overall, no other problems as such & th staff is courteous.
Very convenient place”
Well located.spacious rooms. We stayed for 3 nights in both the category of rooms.both are equally spacious ,the difference is just the deluxe rooms are newly done up.
Buffet breakfast had good variety on each day. Buffet dinner is also decent in both their restaurants.
The staff is always ready for service.
Uber or Ola can be easily used to move about the city.We had an absolutely hassle free stay.
A very bad properly fòod very bad hair in soup_ sambar”
I was a regular guest for the third time cleanliness very bad staff panicked at the reception starting with the head himself exerting unwanted panick . Glasses in room dirty may be used by previous guest. WiFi sold on web but no WiFi available at all in rooms. For safe locker I had to wait for more than one hour over an above I had to remind them two to three times. They treat you as if they don't need you. I am from the hospitality sector for the last twenty years in a managerial position I do not criticise habitually but this time it was very disturbing. If I was to allocate any star to this property I will give a very bad two star. I was also part of a hotel team looking after the grading of a property and I'm used to see things from a professional critical eye
Holiday in Surat at Lords Plaza”
Fantastic hotel, staff and to doe for roof top restaurent and pool.
cheap and that's about it. ”
Buffet was not bad, lights went out, too close to the train station, lots of noise. Rooms were dated, service was too slow.
OK hotel, Disappointing WiFi”
OK hotel , Service from staff could have been better. WiFi access very disappointing, especially when the hotel is promoted with complimentary Wifi. The complimentary WiFi is only for 1 hour and even that access was not very good.
Room full they put me another hotel which half price hotel then lords plaza
Reception staff attitude is dirty.
The room alloted does not have adequate light, can't read a news paper in the night.
The tap only gives chilly hot water at high speed. No courtesy.
Lords Plaza, waste of time and money”
Really crap, did not enjoy it, shower hardly works, overall the hotel feels and looks very run down and dirty. I will never go back.
Had a nice stay.... nothing to say more
Bad experience ”
Location / food / size of room
Very bad experience
The worst part is that they don't care and don't listen
Location, Morning breakfast and staff courtesy
Lord Plaza is an average hotel experience”
Reasonable size rooms, Food was fine, Laundry service was good
Lords Plaza was an average experience, I stayed at the hotel for 9 days. The room was reasonable, bed comfortable, shower was ok, but we were top floor facing the heavy road noise/honking day and night and had no wifi. Staff were Ok in their attentiveness but I did have to ask a follow up a few times for the same thing. No wifi access on the 11 floor despite paying for 24 hours at 650 rupees! Food at restaurant was generally good.
