还不错quiet and clean
Lotus Resort Mountain View Zone”
I will NEVER stay here again!”
If you don't want to live in a ZOO don't stay at Lotus!! We booked 3 nights had to leave after 2 nights. We wanted already leave after one night but they said we'll get no refund. We changed the room 3 times!! So we saw 4 different rooms. We had bed bugs, ants streets, lizards. Also we had one room which looked clean but had so many hairs under the pillow. It was disgusting! I have pictures of all that which you can see on Google, I will upload it there. Also the rooms were so hot! It was warmer outside even with the fan. So definitely don't go there and invest 2 Euros more and look for something acceptable! We left and didn't get anything without the passport back. No sorry, not anything. So really thank you for nothing!! See you never again!
Quiet. Clean and good location
No hot water”
The hotel is nice in general. It has big territory, two water pools. No reception was working at Mountain View Zone, so we had to find Reception of Lotus Paradise... At the end I was surprised having no hot water and ash in ashtray left by previous guests... Mountain view from your balcony can be to the wall of next building.
above a smelly Indian restaurant.
Nice at a first glance but bed bugs bit us all night.
Simple basic room, in the inner area, no view. Room needs a bit more light, bathroom needs improvement.
Stayed in twin bedroom ”
All round okay for the price. Although we have to say that we met Toby in the bathroom and bedroom, our new friend cockroach.
Good value for backpacking couple
Great location. Helpful staff. Access to pools!”
In a great location near sairee beach. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to two pools. Beds weren't the most comfy but they're fine. Room was clean and fab worked well. Would stay again
very basic, nice staff”
We only booked this a couple of weeks before we got there, Koh Tao seemed very expensive and this was the only guesthouse in our budget. The room is very basic and the walls are quite dirty, they really need a clean and lick of paint. The bed was comfortable and sheets clean. The on suite was clean and the fact that there was no hot water didn't matter as we were so hot all the time, the cold water was refreshing if anything. The balcony was pleasant to sit out on however does directly over look a thai family yard and they can be quite noisy; especially the cockerel as soon as the sun comes up. Make sure you take ear plugs. The staff were all very helpful and nice. Offered to clean our room every day and provided toilet paper and towels. When you check in they take one passport and keep it until you check out. They do check the room before they give you back your passport. The resort itself if actually quite big. They have two pools both very nice however sun loungers need updating. Both good sizes and at this time of year we were the only people using them. They also have a bar, restaurant, help desk, travel office and massage parlor. If you don't mind no AC and also cold water then i would recommend as cheap for the island however be prepared to sleep in the heat. The fan isn't great. Also no fridge in the room so water gets warm very quickly. Okay for a couple of nights stay.
Not worth the money... Disgusting smell, a looot of noise between rooms, and bugs in room. Prefer a hotel in south, where beach is beautiful and just a few chill bars...
Not worth the money. Bed bugs”
So my husband and I are into roughing it a little on our 2.5 month journey. We read the reviews and will definitely agree with most of them. A couple things about our room- -2 twin beds, not a double -Bathroom sink was filled with water and -never drained. Also smelt like sewage the whole time. - no hot water which we were fine with - water pressure very low in shower and they also turn the water off during the night - fan in the room works, no AC - very hot and you need to keep the windows open for some air circulation, except no screens on the Windows so you have mosquito heaven at night. - when cleaning people came for our second day they never changed the sheets and took our bath towels without replacing. Guy at the front desk was very helpful figuring it out the towels. -The worst part was the BED BUGS. We couldn't figure it out the first night, but in the morning there were small stains on the sheets. That's how we could tell the staff didn't change the sheets. The second morning I woke up with bites all over my's stomache, arms, legs and back and there was all over both of our beds. Not cool! How could the staff not know? Perhaps not all the rooms there are the same and don't have these problems. Also this is a very long hallway with lots of rooms. It sounds like a dorm as people come and going through the night. I would definitely stay somewhere else or in the ocean part of the resort, not the mountain.
Quiet and good located ”
Its very central and still quiet. The stuff is very nice, the pools are big enough. Altogether good value for money
Central, quiet, friendly staff”
We stayed in this hotel for four nights which were pleasant. The room was big and clean but they didn't empty the trash which still had an old plaster and tissues inside. But well. The towels and sheets were clean. Fan and shower were sufficient. It's rather spartanic but what do you really need. The bed was soft and comfortable. For the same money you would be able to stay at one of the bungalows of the main hotel which is a very tiny bit closer to the beach, but the hotel has two pools and one is open until 1 or even 3 am. If you're searching for a tranquil stay, go for Mountain View. It just takes 5 minutes more to the beach. In both hotels the staff was very friendly and helpful. Interestingly, if you book the hotel's snorkeling tour (just the same as all the other ones available on the island) via Mountain View rather than the one by the beach, it costs 50 baht less (700 instead of 750 p.p.). The tour was fun and we always arrived at the sites a good 10 to 15 minutes earlier than other boats, able to explore everything without kicking someone in the shin ever so often. We also good to feed tiger fish which was soo fun and a little bit scary. Just around the corner we booked a diving trip with FrenchKissDivers who were so very nice and welcoming. We didn't get to go on the trip bc my boyfriend got sick but they are very much worth checking out! (Prices for an introductory dive range between 1800 and 2000 throughout the diving schools. If you like it and decide to go for another dive in the afternoon, you always seem to pay 3000 baht in total for two dives. We checked with two other schools to compare prices.) They could arrange pick up at the pier if you tell them in advance. Should be around 200 baht per person. Normal taxis cost more. We walked to the hotel which took us about 40 minutes. It's very hilly so you may want to invest in that ^^ By the way, you can book other trips and also train and boat tickets through the hotel. Just ask :)
Value for money.”
Have stayed here before a couple years ago and knew what I was getting. A good value for money place near to some great restaurants and right near the beach and all night life but quiet enough to sleep. Staff were great as always, arrived really early (8am) and they let me shower/change in a different room before mine was available.
