Due to the hotel's unique location inside the National Iguazu Park, guests must pay an entrance fee for the park before arriving in the hotel.
This entrance fee is not included in the hotel room rate and it has to be paid in cash in Argentine Pesos.
Please note, at check-in, guests must provide the credit card used to make the reservation.
Please note the based on local tax laws, all Argentinian citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (VAT) of 21%. Only foreigners who pay with a foreign credit card, debit card or via bank transfer are exempt from this 21% additional fee (VAT) in accommodation and breakfast when presenting a foreign passport or a foreign ID along with a supporting document handed by the national migrations authority, if applicable.

Location, location, location!”
Location, pleasant staff, airy and clean roomp
We stayed here for the view of the falls when we woke up and to see around before too many people arrived, and we were not disappointed. It was definitely an extravagance for us, but a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Tucans can be spotted during morning and evening”
Tucans, location location location
Good, great breakfast & variety, and good services
Iguazu Falls is awesome”
Close to Iguazu Falls, Can go into the national park at 8am sharp, Can take a short rest at the hotel if it is too hot
Location of the hotel was the main reason that attracted me. We were able to go to the upper and lower trails of Iguazu National Park before other tourists staying outside the park flocked in. So we were able to take perfect photos! We also watched the sunrise on the top floor of the hotel!
Perfect location, hotel overpriced”
Location, Convenience, Relaxing Atmosphere
The Sheraton is perfect in its location. You reach the Iguazu Falls trails in 5 minutes walking, just down the hill. Plenty of great nature trails around and you can access the park early morning before all the tour groups show up. Once they arrive, around 10am, it makes it impossible to take a picture without at least 10 other people in it. It is so convenient to be able to explore the park/falls/trails in the morning and then have only a short walk to return to the hotel for lunch and a drink on their terrace with a view before heading back out for afternoon exploring. The cocktails and wine were fantastic. The food was good, but not out of this world. Breakfast buffet was huge with many, many options. The rooms are modern and bright with big windows and a balcony. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the falls because they had the availability. Rooms had bath. Wifi internet access was available at an extra charge. It would have been nice if this was included. Hotel lobby was bright and airy. Hotel bar and terrace was nice and relaxing, perfect for post-exploring cocktails. Pool is nice. Spa is fine. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Occasionally you can spot toucans and monkeys that come around the hotel. In general, a very clean, bright, relaxing hotel with a fantastic location, but overpriced for what you get. However, I would stay there again for the convenience of being so close to the park and for the quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Being the only hotel centrally located in the park makes it really convenient if you have only 1-2 days there
just in the iguazu falls park, very good location!”
good location, clean room, good service.
Lovely hotel with great location”
v good location, couldn't be easier
the hotel is nice and provides easy access to the park.
however it feels that the hotel is a bit short staffed, we had to wait quite some time at check in, and the staff was confused with many customers.
Food in the hotel is also on a expensive side, but there aren't many choices near by.
Overall, good stay if you want easy access to the park, but there is a premium to pay for the location.
I generally find Sheraton hotels a little outdated and tired. This one was no exception, having said that though the location makes up for it. Being able to walk outside, past the pool and straight onto the trails to go to the Falls was fantastic. Made it easy to do a walk, head back to your room and then head out again later, really convenient. Sitting on the balcony at the bar and being able to see and hear the Falls while having a drink was amazing.
The ONLY location for Iguazu!”
Views of Falls, proximity to walks to Falls, service, room standard, facilities
Simply outstanding position, comfortable spacious rooms, excellent service from the front desk, enjoyable pool and pool area, good feel to hotel.
The negative aspects, minor by comparison to the positives, are the moderately disappointing quality of meals in the only restaurant and the extreme discomfort caused by 24 hours without air-conditioning due to a town power failure which was recognised by management by an adjustment on check-out.
But I can't imagine a better place from which to explore the Falls.
