If you like your creature comforts and still want to be in close to virgin primary rainforest, then this is certainly your bet, but if you like to get a true taste of the wild outdoor immersive feel, then your better off staying at the National Park accommodation (hostel, dormitories, garden bungalows, since the trails/adventure activities begin and end at the park.
Beautiful hotel with exceptional service and food. Will definitely stay here again.
Luxury hotel in the jungle”
Great rooms, fantastic breakfast, gym, big pool, friendly staff, lots of sofas and places to relax in lobby area. But. In a price of cup of coffee you can have a good meal in a small restaurant just outside Marriot. Prices of food and drinks are 4-5 times higher than outside. But enjoyable place to relax after jungletreks!
Perfect combination of luxury and nature”
Marriott Mulu is perfectly located, very close to Mulu Park with free shuttle to and fro at any time of the day. The service is excellent and the staff is sincere and friendly. Food is good despite it having only one restaurant.
Perfect hotel for Mulu Cave”
Perfect hotel for the explorers of Mulu
Yes, it is in the middle of rain forest and made completely 'floating' from the forest bed! If you are looking for a tranquil getaway, this is the place that you need to be spending time in. Shall return when my son is big enough to do harder trails and cave walks.
