Naksel in Dzongkha means Forest which is where the resort is located. The location is secluded, very quiet and picturesque. The 'deluxe'/Superior room we stayed in for 2 nights was good but they can definitely do something about the lighting which was not adequate. Another thing that was definitely a miss in the room was a power socket and hence for phone charging we had to use the one with the electric kettle. Another very important thing, there are lots of dogs with locals around the hotel and hence there is intermittent barking noise till late nights so that definitely can be an issue if your sleeps are fragile/easily broken
The hotel staff get a 5 on 5 as they were courteous, friendly and very receptive.
We prefer Indian food and I would say it was average for both the nights. Even with the breakfast, they could definitely have more options. I understand that the hotel has to cater to a wider guest list but there were hardly any one in the resort and more importantly, if I compare
Beautiful view from the hotel.staff is very helpful .spa is vry good .indian food is good but need more improvement .
Stay at Nak Sel Boutique Hotel & Spa”
We received very professional, kind service from all the staff at the Nak Sel Boutique Hotel & Spa. The room was beautiful - very attractively furnished, beautiful views, cosy, comfortable, and a very good bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the room was just the right temperature on what was a very cool night.
The dinner food was not up to five star standard unfortunately - not as tasty or well presented as I would expect. Breakfast, on the other hand, was very good.
I created a problem over the payment for the room. The staff at the hotel and at Agoda could not have been more helpful in sorting it out quickly and efficiently. They were, again, professional, honest, and very, very helpful.
Overall, my stay at the Hotel was delightful and I would recommend it highly to others.
