Perfect Location ~ tourist information centre & shops close by! Friendly Staffs & food was nice! Sightseeing points mostly are walkable! The only inconvenience thing is most shops are closed around 5pm, but there is a Local Sushi shop right opposite the hotel open at 6pm & food is good as well!

Nice Ryokan with amazing Onsen!”

We stayed at the Ryokan for one night in a traditional Japanese double room. The room was big and beautiful, the futon beds were really comfortable. We went to the Onsen around 9pm and had them for ourselves for most of the time. Especially the outdoor onsen is amazing, we had a great time relaxing there after a day in Nikko. It takes about 45 minutes to go to the Ryokan from Nikko Tobu Station, the hotel is about 5Minutes walking distance from the train-station. We would definitely recommend the Ryokan!

Nice Ryokan”

We were travelling by Shinkansen and the hotel is a long way from Kumamoto station, we travelled by tram and then walked for about 1.5 kilometres. The hotel is located near a nice park but there are few other attractions in the vicinity. There are very few restaurants nearby but fortunately the Ryokan restaurant catered for diner as well as breakfast, both provided the option of Japanese or western food. The hotel had a good onsen which was really appreciated after a day touring the city.

Nice Ryokan”

Staff was very nice. Reception treated me very well. The dinner and breakfast was very nice. The staff there offered everything they could. I didn't need to get up to grab anything myself, they would bring anything I need. It's close to train station; turn right and walk straight. The onsen was nice. I went late at night and no one was there so I was able to enjoy it all to myself. The onsen outside is smaller but feels great. Provided everything in the room, from traditional japanese robe to bath towels/toiletries to tea and snacks. The room was a traditional room with tatami mats so a futon needs to be placed in order to sleep. I was surprised that after I came back from eating dinner downstairs, my room was rearranged and a futon was placed neatly on the ground. One downside, the train track is right behind the building and I'd say every 30-60 min a train would pass by, but not at night or early morning. And the walls are kind of thin so if you shout others will hear you.

夕食、朝食共に種類が豊富で体に良いものばかり。彩りも綺麗。女性用の浴衣と帯が何種類から選べるようになっていました。温泉も良く、小さいながらも露天風呂があり、楽しめました。暖かい気持ちで宿を後にできました。駅からほど近く、ライン下りからも近いです。鬼怒川には面していませんが、散歩で見に行きましたので満足です。リニューアルされたそうで、お部屋はリフォーム済み、紹介写真にあるようにカラフルな和室となっていますが上品です。手入れも行き届いており、居心地がいいです。
