Great location ”
The location was great there was a lot of restaurants around and many cvs to get your daily needs ,safe area plus the hotel rooms clean and spacious it dose have small fridge and microwave coffee maker ect , the front disk stuff were very helpful specially the girl at the afternoon time who checked me in, it was super fast check in and out I recommended this hotel and I’ll stay there once am at the area at any time .

Good location,reasonably priced, but feels cheap”
The hotel is situated in Rio Lerma which is a lively street with lots of restaurants and close to one of the main avenues in mexico (Paseo de la reforma). I wanted to like it because the hotel offered large rooms, at a reasonable price unfortunately a number of things kept me from enjoying my stay. First, the fittings in the room were all very cheap. I had a light in my living room that would flicker even when the power to it was off, which was only mildly annoying by itself, but without smoke alarms definitely a concern for a fire hazard. Also, the bathtub, which I was really looking forward to enjoying (a whirpool bath), didn't have a plug. I requested one 5 or 6 times before eventually I got one brought to my room, but even then the cleaning staff took it away again after 4 or 5 days leaving me once again without a bath. The first night I didn't have towels which I didn't realize until after my shower. Every time I requested something from the staff, it took at least 30-40 minutes so the performance wasn't very impressive. Also, the internet used a hotspot login, which I'm definitely not a fan of. Even worse, the login stopped working after a few days there so I ended up using a starbucks wifi password which had better access and speeds anyway. On the positive side, there was a nice breakfast buffet every morning with a fairly good selection of fruit, some kinds of scrambled eggs and other dishes. Its a shame, it could be a great hotel for its location and the size of the rooms, but its just not.

Fantastic value for money”
The rooms were surprisingly nice - with separate kitchen and living room. The bed was made from memory foam which I LOVED. Pillows were not comfy so if you are picky, recommend to bring your own. The staff at reception - both shifts and the concierge were very helpful and friendly. This was a very safe and convenience location as a tourist - walking distance from Angel de La Independencia which is basically the center of everything and walking distance from Reforma and all the bus lines into Zocalo. Love it!

A Cut Above the Rest”
Upon check-in, I was ushered in by the very amiable bellman who showed me all the amenities of the suite and how these are operated. The front desk staff are very helpful regarding sights of interest. Others said that the street noise was annoying but it did not disturb me a bit. I used to watch the late afternoon traffic from my suite balcony and just enjoy the interaction of passersby. Great hotel. Will surely be back.

The hotel is in a nice area and convient to local attractions. The rooms were a good size and clean. They straighten up daily; The staff were friendly and helpfull. There were several fine dining spots close by.

We were at Suites del Angel for about a week. The hotel is located in a great area, close to Centro Historico and Zona Rosa. We changed rooms after the first night because our room faced the main street and at around 4 AM the traffic and dump/garbage trucks starting to make all kinds of noises. We couldn't sleep after that! The next room faced indoors and it was quiet at night and in the morning. Both rooms were smoke stinking and the floor is wood like linolium, cheap and worn out. the courtains are heavy with dust. The rooms were somewhat dark. They cleaned them everyday the best they could but there's a lot of room for improvement.

the suites del Angel is a great place to stay when travelling to Mexico City. It is so central and close to everything. The people at reception during the day and early evening were very helpful and friendly and always had time to answer any questions. The maids servicing the rooms were fantastic. I would reccommend the hotel to any traveller!
