Old building that has been refurbished - needs improvement on the outlook/condition of room but otherwise fairly good service by the reception desk only.
Old hotel but cosy enough”
The room is big. Although it may need some refurbishment, but I find that the size of the room makes up for it.
I booked 2 bedroom apartment suite.
Dirty towels and poorly maintained”
Ceiling cracking in toilet due to water leak.
The room for the apartment with 2 bedrooms are very old. Most of the lamps are not function. The wall, bathroom, tv n the other appliance are old. The room n living room is big enough for the family if u dont mind about the old room. Each room have the bathroom n another toilet beside the kitchen.
Serious of cleanliness and service problem ”
We are booking for 2 Bedrooms Apartment Suite, when we go in the room, it is big enough but there is a problem of their carpet. It is so dirty, it looks like watermarks after the ceiling leaks and it seems like a long period of time do not have proper housekeeping. The bed sheets also have alot of watermarks in the color of brown. Besides, lighting in master bedroom is not function, we request for maintanence officer to come over and fix it, they not able to fix also and ask us to turn the light of manually (which is switch the light bulb up and down for on off purpose). We did request change to "hotel room" but not "apartment suite". The problem of carpet cleanliness is better than apartment suite, but the bed sheets problem remain the same and we think that it is no point no change rooms again since it's same from apartment suite to hotel rooms.
reasonable place to stay”
The hotel need upgrading as it looks rundown in the inside.
Good place to stay in when in Kuching”
The location is nearby all point of interest that we wish to taste and experience, just by walking distance. The staff in hotel apartment is friendly and considerate especially we have young children travel with us, the check in and check out process handled professionally and fast. Helpful in term of request made by us they response fast. Facilities might look aged but well maintained, good job. Will consider again for next Kuching visit.
basic facilities that should be there like air condition is not working...,
there was only one 2 seater sofa and a coffee table, no place to sit in the living area. ..... lack of furniture.
Not enough lighting in the apartment. lights are not there in the kitchen... with the kitchen wall painted black., its hard to see things in the kitchen area. Kitchen has no stove , no refrigerator, no utensil at all.
Carpet are warned off with patches of stain especially in the living room area. The wall paper are peeling of the wall.
Breakfast is not that good. Should hire a better cook, who can cook delicious meal.
I went for family holiday, consist of me and hubby, my 3 children (1 adult, 1 teenager, 1 child) plus my two very old parents.
Entering the lobby, it portrays a posh look. But too good to be true.
The room is in a shabby condition, torn wall papers, carpet old n worn out, dull lighting, toilet always wet very dangerous for children and old people.
For three bedroom apt, we were only given 5 towels, no plates no fork and spoon, only 3 cups with two saucers. Should we need extra towels we need to pay, same goes if we ask for xtra coffee or tea we need to pay for it.
Old tv, with cupboard... one side of the cabinet door is spoilt. Fridge is dirty and not cold. Curtains cannot be push up or down (panelled curtain).
Overall very disappointing...I would recommend this hotel be taken out from your listing.
