The view was amazing though we had an issue during our stay First, I communicated for the pickup and asked, if possible, to at least stop (just stop) on a location where we can do the stations of the cross. I even provided the map during our conversation. The receptionist agreed to it and said that it is ok. When we arrive, we were toured around to the place that I don’t even mention in the conversation, I even drew a map, in the end the only place that was done the church. When we arrived, we were charged with a pickup and tour fee which was too much because it was not what we agreed! Little did I know that I am communicating with 2 or3 different persons. I hope if that is the way they communicate, then it should be relayed to the next one who will respond and the one who will respond should mentioned their name. And if only I know, I just booked the tour when we arrived at the port Second, I booked a breakfast for 5 adults, and they insisted that the breakfast was only for 2-person ☹ so if you are booking here wih family and booked a breakfast. Better confirm the number of person before coming Even though, we had these issues, I’m still recommending this property. The view of the sunrise was amazing. The food was also superb and we had a comfortable one night sleep here.

You need lota of patience”
Not reccomended. For now. Well maintained and professional crew but needs improvement in many ways.s It's a nice place, I like it.. but Breakfast inclusion offered by agoda with the price was not honored. Not usual for siquijor to charge for 10% SC but they do here. So many "wala" in the restaurant. Cake was soo old. Its like it was sliced 3 weeks ago and left it on the fridge. Wifi connection so-so Shore with sand is very limited if not for the price Still coco grove has Value for money. Upgraded but the toilet and bath stink. Blinds soo bright no blackout curtain.

Valentine’s Day and Business travel”
Great customer service is essential to your success and the meals is great! Our room was clean and spacious with a rude receptionist. (We arrived in the hotel around 7am but the staff called the receptionist that we are there and the receptionist response that they are fully booked and no vacant room, it’s rrly bad customer service because didn’t even ask if we have a reservation or booking. we’re just gonna ask if we can check in early and eat our breakfast at their resto for a meantime but seems she don’t need a sales🥲It may seem like not very much time to pass judgment on someone's character, but ultimately it’s not rrly sounds great and not good impact to the resort. BEAUTIFUL PLACE”
I would highly recommend this Hotel and its staff for the professional way it is run. We had a medical episode on our first afternoon of arriving and thank god with the help of staff I was able to revive my partner. Hotel is superb and the rooms are as they look in photos and the grounds and pools beautiful also. It is a quiet area and for me that was definitely a positive, there was heaps of things to fill in your day anyway like visiting local waterfalls and riding motorcycles.

The Gabayan Riviera is one of those places you will never never forget. We have been in a state of euphoria all week. The saddest part about coming here is that we will eventually have to leave. Our compliments to the staff for their impeccable attention to detail and catering to all of our needs. Kudos to the owners that have envisioned a space that personifies leisure and recreation. Tried to be a conceptual model resort….. however couldn’t get it right…… great views……. Nice exterior……. Poor interior…… problems with hot water, mobile connectivity, WI-FI, under par breakfast and food, very far from San Juan ferry station

Great spot for Staycation”
The staffs and owner are very nice and accommodating! We really loved our stay there especially because there was a party at that time. The great ocean view and the path walk in the beach really added to the quality of the place. My only problem was, their ceiling isnt really designed well. Our room was not cold because the ceiling is open. And when there was a heavy rain in the morning, may droplets rin. Also very expensive yung restaurant nila. It might be because of their location.

Blown away by their facilities”
We arrived very late at night as we missed the ferry from dumaguete in the afternoon. When we arrived at our villa it was very modern and stylish. I loved their design of the room which is very spacious and homey. The following day we took a ton of pics in their docks area and the pool overlooking the sea. I could tell that some areas are still a work in progress but overall, the place and facilities are top notch.

The Resort”
The place is really nice, rooms large and clean. Swimming pool good. If you stay here you need a motorcycle as it’s quite remote. The restaurant food was above average, however the staff were very slow, more interested in their phones than giving out menus etc. For a nice resort alcohol was limited to local beer, no vodka etc.

The nicest place ”
This has been the nicest place we have stayed in all of the Philippines and we have been here for a month. The only down side is that its a very far scooter from town. About 45-60 min from the pier. You have to rent a scooter in town when you first get here as there is no where close to rent one or walk to eat. The room, pool, bathroom and everything is gorgeous. The shower is amazing great pressure, but hot water only lasts around a minute and takes 2-3 minutes to come back. 100% would stay here and say its worth it if you are confident on a scooter. Resturant is amazing but more expensive then in town.

Thank you for your review towards the Hot Water we have ordered new sets, since we only been open a few months, we have had to work on a few issues and that is a major one. This coming week it should be all rectified. I'm sorry you had to deal with that issue. Towards Bikes we are purchasing some and hope to have bikes as well as a car for rent. We have a van and we will be happy to dive you anywhere you would like. Thank you again Meaghan for your comments, I pray its not a cold winter this year :)
