Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%.
This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid separately.
To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).

For the young and fit only.”
Cannot think of three things, one would be the view. Two would be the wonderment of how they kept the dust off the glasses collection. Three would be the friendly sisters.
The access is horrible due to the bombed out steep road. It was impossible to get bags to and from. We had a simple lunch, a cheese salad and an omelette and a very ordinary bottle of Chilean wine and were charged USD38 and got a mouth ulcer as a bonus. The hygiene is not good. However the sisters are very helpful and personable and assisted in directions down to the town. A visitor would' be better closer to the town and up the hill as most b and b's are located. Sleeping is not easy as the verandah Is below the rooms and loud voices came up till the small hours. Then the barking dogs took over around 5 am. Sadly the sisters were entertaining loud voiced guests so our jet lagged bodies suffered another sleepless night. Thankfully we were there only one night.
