In the case that a room is shared by a VAT exempt guest and a non-exempt one, the 18% VAT tax will be added to the room rate.
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.
Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.
Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

Great hotel in Cusco”
Great room fittings, really helpful kind staff and good location
Really nice comfortable hotel. Staff were very kind and helpful. The hotel is in the perfect location about 300m walk to the plaza, which is just far enough for piece and quiet. Rooms and fitting are much better than the average in Peru. We ended up staying in a few Tierra Viva's including in Arequipa and all properties were very clean, with lovely staff and consistent high quality.
Comfort, clean and great service
We ended up booking another night. We were coming and going between puno and muchu Picchu and the staff organised all out pickups and drop offs, luggage storage and laundry while away!
Accommodation is super clean, reasonable space and cosy.
Great location, caring staffs, beautiful room”
Great location, caring staffs, beautiful room
It's one of the best hotels in Cusco. It's not big but very elegant in any corner of the hotel. Our room is on the 2nd floor and it is not very spacious but just enough for us. The bathroom is very clean and chic. Beds are so comfortable. The hotel is just 5-minutes walk to the city center and it is a quiet but safe street. Many great restaurants and drug stores right near the door.On our check-out day we left our luggage at the reception and just went out for a short day-trip. However, when I came back to get my luggage, I suddenly felt sick and dizzy (it caused by the altitude). The staffs are very caring and they just open a guest room for me to lie down without any extra charge.I felt really bad but lying down for 1 hour just help me get relive. Thanks for the caring staffs and they save my life. Really recommend everyone to stay in this lovely hotel.
Excellent Service, Comfortable Room and Near Central Plaza
Cosy, Value for Money!”
Superb service, excellent breakfast and cosy room
Exceptional staff. Prepared take-away breakfast for us free of charge automatically for our Machu-Pichu trip (where we have to wake up during wee hours in the morning). Superb service overall!
Great hotel but mediocre location”
Great customer service, modern design and clean hospitality
this is a really great hotel with lots of amenities. the staff were very helpful, however, this is a bit of a walk from the main square. i prefer the cusco plaza location, which is a bit of a smaller hotel. if you prefer more space, go with the cusco saphi location. both hotels provided excellent service.
Lovely hotel, nice and friendly staff, clean room ”
Clean room and bathroom, friendly staff, convenient location
we are group of 8 people and stayed there for 2 nights. the staff are very friendly and speak english well enough to communicate. the hotel is nicely decorated. the bathroom and bedroom is clean. they provide free hot coca tea in hotel lobby. breakfast choice is not variety but you are not suppose to eat much if you are suffering high altitude sickness anyway. we all like the hotel.
Excellent hotel, friendly staff and great location”

- great location, 5 min walk from the Plaza de Armas
- Free WI-fi
- (2) Desktop computers and printer available
- Breakfast is included
Strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. Would stay there again anytime.
Nice cozy hotel but quite a walk to the plaza ”
Clean rooms, modern decor
I like that the hotel is modern, clean and pretty. They also serve coca tea when you check in which really helps combat altitude sickness. The breakfast though is sparse and the hot water takes a while. The location is also quite a walk from the plaza which is hard especially if you still have altitude sickness.
