Pretty hotel a short walk from town”
nicely furnished room, pretty grounds, not in center of town
I stayed at Villa Sofia for almost a full week and had a lovely stay. I will say that my room, a standard single located on the first floor, was pretty loud. It was right over the main entrance where the cars pulled in and it overlooked the street (as all of the rooms do). But aside from that, the room was a decent size and the furnishings were simple yet elegant and nice with lots of natural wood and stone. My bathroom was a decent size with much counter space and a strong, hot water. The staff was a mixture of semi-helpful and not so great. And the breakfast was very good, but served in the basement, which was a bit odd for a hotel with such beautiful surroundings. My last night, I stayed in the attic which was smaller but equally charming, w/less light due to smaller windows. All in all a nice place to stay for a week and an easy 10-15 walk to town. Much more charming than any of the town center hotels. And I got it for a REAL bargain in March!
Lovely hotel in a good location”
room decor is outstanding - slate floors, natural wood, views of the lake.
We stayed in the cozy attic loft, which in fact was quite roomy. The decor is very attractive - slate floors, modern bathroom and comfey duvet on the bed, with a private stairway leading to the entrance.
The only downside to this hotel is that it is located on a major road and traffic noise was bothersome. Otherwise, service was excellent and the stay was quite pleasant.
It was within walking distance of the major attractions of Bariloche, but out of the tourist fray. The hotel location is in more of a residential neighborhood. There was a large pool and gym, which we didn't use, and the grouds of the hotel are quite large. We had a car, and there was ample room for parking.
spa, cleaness, room and stuff all very good
the hotel is really good hotel compared to other in the erea.
we were very stisfied from every thing, from the room, from the stuff that were very professional. they instruct us were to go where to visit good restorant in the city.we visited the 5th and 17th kilometer atractions seen the moseion. we visited chaw chaw and the port and had 4 hours trake to the waterfall.
