Originally settled in the 1800s, Coconut Grove remains a charming, bayside village within the urban dynamic of Miami. The Grove, as it's commonly called, is the oldest continuously inhabited neighborhood of Miami. The pedestrian-friendly village center in Coconut Grove is filled with sidewalk cafes, galleries, and boutiques. The small bohemian village feel is countered by recognizable chain restaurants, but small local cafes, college bars, and independent boutiques still line the streets. Pull up a chair outside, watch the assortment of shoppers, bar-hoppers, students, and tourists stroll the streets and enjoy the laid-back ambience. Coconut Grove's relaxed atmosphere extends into the many open-air bay front parks in the area, including Peacock Park, Kennedy Park(located a 1 block from our Villa), The Barnacle Historic State Park and more. Coconut Grove is also home to many popular annual events. Our villa property offers parking for our guests. If you do not have a car ,Uber and Lyft are frequently used and reliable throughout the neighborhood and all of South Florida. If you prefer public transportation, a bus stop is conveniently located outside the Villa gates. The Miami Trolley is also available a few blocks away, arrives every 15-20 minutes and is free to all riders.
