服务和餐饮不错,酒店位置很好
酒店位于市区前往机场的路上,就在德班北部海滩边上,酒店海景房阳台视野很好,服务和餐饮均不错,美中不足的是酒店设施稍老些,房间无限上网需额外交费。总体感觉很不错,下次去还会考虑入住~~

位置好 早餐丰富
距离海滩只有几十米,位置堪称一流。可凭窗眺望海景,房间通风好,14楼夏天没有蚊子,晚上不用开空调(但如果开的话,噪音有些大)。前台服务尚可,但那个白妞让人有些心堵。上网要收费,而且,在房间无法连上网络,要到走廊或者2楼信号才能好。总之,综合来看,是家不错的酒店。

The family room was spacious and had beautiful views of the city and the Indian ocean from the balconies. Scrumptious buffet breakfast. However I didn't like that the room had one bathroom in the main bedroom, privacy was limited with kids walking in and out.

Over rated ”
The hotel is over rated, it does not deserve to be 4 star, the facilities are not 4 star rates , after shower water all over the floor , cockroaches, the whole floor tiled, the pool was not working, no gym only bed and breakfast, facilities too old , the front area doesn’t reflect the rooms inside

I sm a frequent guest but was exceptionally disappointed on my last visit. ”
The establishment does not life you to its 4 star rating. Rooms aren't cleaned thoroughly. The shower was leaking into the passage. Lifts haven't been properly operational since last year. Work the exception of Kirsten at reception and the porters the staff are unfriendly and behavior leaned more toward doing us a favour rather than providing assistance. Not allowed to enter the premises with food or beverages but tea, coffee and bottled water in the room are only provided on the day off arrival!!!

Room 606 is falling apart”
I stay a lot at blue waters and Belair. Usually the aircons do not work at Blue waters, however i was pleasantly surprised to see it worked in room 606. However Room 606 seems to be the room where the broken furniture and beds are put in as well as broken tiles in the bathroom, broken railing outside which i very dangerous, broken bathroom door lock, both beds legs broken off on one side, bed is bent in middle, patio door does not close easily, windows where filthy and a number of other items. Housekeeping also seem to consider this room a dud because they never even bothered to replace the toilet paper or coffee during the 4 days i was there, even after asking reception to please sort it out. In a nutshell, Blue Waters is going backwards and not forwards if i compare it to 2 years ago. Another really irritating problem is their pathetically slow check in process. Put more people out front if you see there is a que going out the door. Not acceptable, and this is at anytime from 14:00!

i love Blue water so so much. please try to fix the swimming pool entrance for us big ladies. please try to fix the entrance and the water is still cold. but in general i still love blue waters i visit Durban each year.. i am also coming this year again. thank you very much.

Blue Water's Experience”
We had a fairly good stay. However, beware of hidden costs such as ironing of clothes. Unlike other hotels, irons are not available and you have to per R12 per item. Also parking is limited and ensure that you book parking early to avoid parking your vehicle outside.

the vacation was good. i am still worried about the swimming pool because i have requested earlier that we are struggling to get into that. it must be changed so that the fully people can be able to use it easily without fear of falling on those steps (silver stairs) please.

I stay quite often at this hotel. Each room needs to be equipped with up to date phone chargers (some rooms don't have) the air cons need to be updated. There is only "low" or "high" settings. The windows needs to cleaned on a regular basis. The rooms are clean but not super clean. If you move stuff like an ottoman you find dirt under it. The breakfast needs to be changed. It gets boring after a while. They should separate the vegetarians from the meats completely. Don't make waffles everyday. Introduce pancakes or flap Jack's... Just make breakfast much more interesting. Also they should cater for the kosher/ halaal / vegetarian eaters more... As you stay on the higher floors the reception of the TV is bad.... Overall its a good value for money hotel. Just needs a few improvements.

Not worth the price!”
The only thing that stood out is the breakfast and seaview. The breakfast is exceptional and trys to cater for everyone. Cons: the rooms are smaller than advertised. You basically have to pay for almost everything. The deco is outdated. You are not allowed to bring in food, which is problematic for some of us who eat specific foods not served in their restaurant. Prepare to feel like a school kid when they have to stop you and check you into a register every time you come back into the hotel. Worst part is the cleaners stole from us. Honestly don't think I'll return as it's not worth the money paid.

Average stay”
Overall an average stay in terms of value for money. Can get better accommodation along the golden mile for cheaper and better rooms. Breakfast was also average having the standard hotel breakfast menu.

I judge a book by its cover! My mistake!”
I have stayed two nights in the Blue Waters Hotel. Unfortunately I have found the hotel facilities (other than the main hall & restaurant) to be like a hospice like place. Extremely dirty, not maintained at all, some places with pipes hanging up on the ceiling, others with holes on the ceiling. I also had to check out early on the last day, a staff member was already entering the room to clean whilst my mom was still in her room. I found it very rude as asked the staff to wait for her to come out. The pizza bar also doesn’t follow their working hours; I decided to purchase a pizza on my second night and found the bar closed. I was told by the bar manager that they close early if there’s no customers around. What a surprise. Location is perfect and overall staff are nice; which is a pity because he hotel has huge potential do do well; it I won’t get back to stay in the Blue Waters again, unless they recognize their issues and fix them.

Love this place but was sadly disappointed. We were checked almost one hour late.. just one lift working at a wait of about 15-20min ... in one occasion the lift did not want to select the floor... and we temporarily stuck for a few scary moments with my family ...we had a blind family member with... my little boy was so looking forward to the pool.. which was out of order.. it was good to use as we checked out .. my request for at least half hour late check out was interrogated yet I was gracious to wait to be checked in late... Looks like my last stay at Blue Waters 😞.

Awful stay”
We stayed in the hotel on the 3rd and 4th of January 2018. the view from the room was the only positive thing about the hotel. we were put in a deluxe ocean view room which had an inter-leading door to another room. this made it awful to get any peace and quietness as we could hear everything that was happening in the next door room. also the overall noise levels were too loud and the rooms are not sound proof at all. also we had a bad experience with the staff. the staff members were very rude and one actually was rude to my wife for not being able to sign a document because she was holding our 4 month old baby in her hand. he expected her to find a place to put him down just so she could sign a document because he was unable to wait for me to come. also when we were moved to another room, the hotel reception said that someone will be up to help us move, but after about an hour i realized that noone was coming therefore I had to move all my luggage at 1.00am in the morning on my own

Awful Experience”
When checking in at 14h00, was advised that room was not ready. Was advised that it would be ready by 15h00 and we would be contacted . Paid for parking and waited. At 15h20 we had not been contacted. Proceeded to the check-in desk to be advised to stand again in the long queue that had formed. I had informed that that we had paid for the parking and were waiting for the call as to when we could get access to our room. I then requested to chat to the manager (Kevin). and was advised that he would be down in 5 minutes. A few minutes later the manager arrived and after I explained what had happened he checked us in and handed me the room keys. We went to the beach and on return when I tried to open the door the key would not work. We tracked down a maintenance staff. She advised that the manager (Kevin) had double locked the room has he did not know who was booked in the room. She contacted him and he advise that I should go to reception to resolve the issue.
