清潔方面非常的不理想 廁所花灑水特小 刷牙盆水侯破爛 馬桶特髒 門身完全沒有清洗過 簡直受不了 冷氣不冷... 你們餐館收我們一個人頭的buffet rm35 說到晚上10點 但是到了八點多就沒東西吃了 就普通的烤魚烤雞satay飯米粉這樣而已 我們是21個人來的 八點多就沒東西吃了吃什麼 這叫自助餐嗎？餐館後面的廁所非常非常臭非常非常骯髒 你們這間所謂的resort必須檢討...不會再光顧也不會介紹..
Room and bathroom were absolutely not maintained. Except scrubbing some of the bathroom floor, the rest was just filth, dirt, i could wipe the dirt from the tiles by passing my finger on it, therefore i don't understand that the cleaning staff can't do better, it was totally disgusting... Also, no special attention, not even a bottle of water or toilettries as promised during booking. VERY IMPORTANT: they switch off the electricity between 8AM and 7PM, so forget having a nice long sleep, you will wake up sweating like a pig! Breakfast buffet is miserable, cancer and diabete await you. Do NOT go! Better choose KBC!
Most of chalet alrdy obsolate expecially area sliding door, wardrobe,toilet is clogged. But maintainance service quite fast & action taken verry well. Location verry nice & environment verry clean. Put some interesting plants & flowers with new chalet colors will make the environment more cheerful.
It was adequate with friendly service
Disappointed with everything listed as below: 1. Pillows were not placed in pillow cases. 2. Tap water , has impurities and is not suitable to use for drinking, my friend's room did not come with kettle and cups. 3. Bathroom walls have mould stains, hardened soap stains on wall tiles. 4. Floor between pantry and bathroom door has cracks; insects easily enter at night. 5. Walls which are made of wood have water swellings. 6. Laundry hanging line not well maintained. 7. Kitchen backyard not cleaned and tidy; kitchen rubbish can be seen from the hand wash area. 8. F&B staff need to be retrained . Lunch and dinner menu states : i. 'lobster' but received prawns instead when order lobster dish. ii. 'grilled' chicken chop but received 'deep fried' chicken chop instead.
Budget stay and Location is perfect”
Rooms are okayish at this price. But they can improve toilet as couple of things were not in working condition in the bathrooms. We spent only 1 night so doesn't matter. Overall it was good stay as we spent most of the time outside at beach and KBC.
Need to be improved interm of old facility, leaking bathroom and policy of electricity distribution (annoying) , policy of ' customer need to ask at counter intrem of borrowing item, such as mosquitoes repellent' pathetic! . Will come again to Pulau Kapas but will look another resort.
Please take note that this resort has a ridiculous electricity schedule. And even when there is electric, the air conditioning might not work. 2 out of 3 rooms were ok, at one of the rooms we booked, the air conditioning did not work at all and to top it off, there's no fan. They could improve on the electricity since people are paying to stay at their resort, maybe throw in electric kettles in the rooms since it's difficult to get something to eat after 11pm at night throughout the island and maybe refurb the rooms a little bit.
This is not my first time step foot on kapas island. All these while, i stayed in gem islands resort and spa. I went to kapas island resort (KIR) because this is the only affordable and available on that particular day. However, it is not cheap. I paid nearly 300 ringgit. The facilities was terrible. The floor is very dirty and blackend. No TV. NO complimentary drinking water. NO kettle. The towel was very thin and its like a kain buruk for me. Bathroom floor is disgusting. Slippery and dirty. Same goes to the toilet bowl. The shower is terrible too. No toileteries. Air cond was not cold and no controller. Yellowish bedsheet. The cupboard was broken and waiting to collapes. Breakfast was bad.
Low Maintenance Chalet”
I like this resort chalet and the facilities. The Location is good and the area are big the staff are very nice. But this chalet are poor or Low Maintenance and fell not comfort. This Chalet should be more better. But i being told by the staff that this resort property is belong to Government. And the company cannot do more. Their contract is to run the property. What a sad. I think Government should make the property look better or equal to the Private chalet that own by Foreigner. ......"Dear Government please improve and make Kapas Island Resort one of the best resort in Kapas Island"....
value for money”
My only concerns are: - the lengthy hour of scheduled power off - the hot water kettle provided was not functioning - too many mosquitoes - no outside water pipe to wash off at Rantau Abang chalet Other than that, the stay was wonderful and the breakfast marvelous with plenty of choices

I book through Agoda for 2 nights and paid upon arrival, they get me the two room chalet which is sit in the last row of the resort beside the jungle, our chalet seems like didn't have guest for a long time, dirty and no maintenance, also there's no guest in another room and in the left and right neighboring chalet, the light was sounding and got many kind of insects in the room and bathroom. I book through Agoda 1 and a half month before arrival but the resort get us the low maintenance room such as there's no any other better room available
This place is old and needs to rebuild the chalets, sliding door not working, wooden steps broken, no chairs, dirty toilet and clogged sink. Basically they need to refurbish everything including the pillow and bed. Breakfast is simple but acceptable as it's included. The staff are accommodating and prompt in replacing the bulbs. The seafront is great with clear water.
