Lucky we had the half price deal”
the garden is the best feature,
Being there in Sept, not many tourist around so they say it is slow season, but any hotel, that should not be a reason for not having food and drinks stocked. the 'only' alcahol drink available was tusker, the beer, not even a wine or gin. on the day we arrived the chef cooked lovely fish and chips and it was beautiful even though we had to wait more than our hour to receive it but our evening meal choice consisted of soup, sandwich and fruit, cause nothing else was in stock. we stayed in the studio for two nights which was clean and comfy, no problem there, but to get to a shop to buy food etc, you need to take some transport, so either get a taxi to the resort, or its a long walk to the corner where ther tuk-tuk wait. in the taxi it still takes a 10 minutes or more to get to the shops. Over all, we were lucky to get a half price deal on our studio room, but that is all it was worth, it certainly was not worth the full price. and dont forget to have right money on you in Africa, cause no matter who you talk to, they will rarely have any change. including the chef of this resort. it is unlikely we would stay here again, probably good in high season, but just a tad far to from most things unless you get a taxi.
