The hotel was lovely and in a great location.. not too far into the souqs and close to the main square as well as only being about 20 mins walk from the new city. The staff were very friendly, spoke good english and were willing to answer all questions and show you anything you didn't know. We had booked to stay at this riad for 7 nights but after 3 we were moved to a different riad, we weren't sure why as the reason wasn't very clear.. the room needed 'preparations' which we assumed was maintenance but were unsure because of the language barrier. We weren't very happy about being moved as we liked the location of this riad but as soon as they were aware of our unhappiness they tried their best to make it up to us, we didn't have to pay for our city tax and they gave us breakfast for the remaining 4 days at the new riad which we had not booked or paid for. The new riad was just as nice as this one but a little further away and overall we were happy with the situation. Marrakech is a bit mad anyway so as long as you are able to go with the flow a bit, the general hospitality is great. Felt very welcomed.
