Excellent venue for our purpose, manager and staff will help with anything you need, our best stop in Vietnam and we have been here a month, the manager also has good English skills for the area, rooms are spacious and clean and it is very much a family run hotel, even met the father!
Thank you so much for choosing us. Hopefully, see you again in Vietnam. Take care!
Good Location and Price”
Stay here for 2 nights and very Good Place to stay, near SunWorld Station just 15minutes walking. Lots of food around. Nice buffet in the morning. Reception is very helpful and help us a lot. Will stay here in the future.
The room is clean and warm. The staff is helpful and friendly by explaining and booking the capble ticket to Fansipan for us. However, the preparation is not really good as I booked the room with large bed but they gave us 2 separeted single beds instead (the staff then had to come and merge the beds later). The hot water was weird also. I can only get hot water at the sink only, while the water at the shower was not warm enough.
Great view, staff went above and beyond to meet our needs”
We really enjoyed our stay at Sapa view Hotel. Yes the room witnesses the age of the hotel and the sink leaks but don't let those tiny details make you hesitate to book there. The receptionnist is amazing and since they are also a little travel agency they booked us a private trek in the rice paddies with the ever so nice hmong guide Sue outside of the normal tourist routes. Would stay there again. Ask for a room with a view. It is one of the last truly magnificent viewpoint of the Sapa Valley in an affordable price range.
Great stay with easy walking to the shopping area ”
Located in quiet area, not far from city, good view value for money but no heater and stay in high floor get better view but need your energy to walk without lift overall good stay in sapa and hope to come back again
Excellent hotel with a great view”
We arrived the hotel to meet the receptionist who was very friendly and spoke fluent English, the location of the place was easy to find and the view was stunning. The room features a fireplace with was a little troublesome to keep the fire alive, however it was fun to sit around the fireplace. Basically in Sapa the weather affects the trekking and photo takings, we were there during January 2 which had fine picture taking spots however on the second day it was raining and the mist covered up all the hills and waterfall. Hence we decided to stay in the hotel, which the allow us to extend our check out timing to 6pm(half price) and arranged transportation as well. The staff are extremely helpful and kind and often offer to provide greater service than expected.
great hotel, good size rooms, big bathroom and great shower, it is worth paying a little bit extra for the mountain view. the staff where great, helped us out with everything. sapa people are naturally friendly. let us have a shower before when left for the train. breakfast was good, the location is good. a little further to walk but quiet so you can enjoy the view.
Service with the customer in mind”
we check in to the room on the highest floor and we love it. staff at the hotel help us with the transport to and from the train station and 2day 1night hiking cum homestay tour. their service is up to a level where they auto set up the fire place for us every night we go out for our dinner. on the day when we are returning to hanoi it was really cold and misty, the hotel offer us hot tea as we wait for the bus to pick us up to the train station.
Warm & friendly staff made me felt really at home”
The hotel is relatively new (1 year old). A very cosy place with friendly and helpful staff who really made me felt at home. After booking a room, I emailed the hotel to enquire about guided tours. The hotel's friendly staff (Jenifer) provided me with tips and even helped book train tickets and arrange for land transfer to and fro Lao Cai station and Sapa town. The tour guide turned out to be awesome! Plus lunch and dinner was provided as part of the day tour. I really had a lot of fun at Sapa, all thanks to the hotel's kind arrangement. Every room has a fireplace and guests can request for someone to light up the fireplace at night when it's cold. The view from balcony was breathtaking. The only area which can be improved is the design of the bathroom. The bathroom gets all wet when we shower, which makes it really inconvenient. Also, the window in the bathroom, when left open, will attract many many insects into the bathroom (not sure if this only happens during winter).
How could this be at 3 star hotel? ”
We stay at room 502. I’m really mad about this property and I was confused how Agoda judge this as 3 star. They don’t even have a lift. We climb 5 floor to get to our room. The room picture is totally different from the actual. The towel they provided is with holes, the hair dryer even worst, is a burned hair dryer. And the plug in the toilet and also burned.
A pity for the hotel ”
Good - the Manager named Hien who knew how to speak English pretty well. He helped to fix our water pressure on the first day when it was not working. He also offered us a room is rest in when we arrived early in the morning from the 4am bus from Hanoi. Bad - the whole hotel is dated and requires a revamp, however there is not really a point because there’s a new hotel that under construction right in front of their hotel so there isn’t really a full mountain view anymore. The other staffs can’t speak English too so be prepared for communication issues. Another thing is it’s not 24/7 front desk as we arrived at 5am the hotel was locked and closed, we almost had to stand outside in the cold for an hour or so luckily we seeked shelter at a nearby hotel. They had their hotline pasted on the front door but as tourist we didn’t buy the SIM card with calls so that is something to consider as well if you’re coming early to Sapa from Hanoi. A pity that the hotel lost its view & value.
The staff is very nice and helpful in everything. The room itself was not so clean and there were also cockroaches. I do not think they changed sheets. Breakfast is very good.
Breakfast and owner is very good
Breakfast and owner so good
Clean rooms and lovely staff”
My room was lovely! Comes with small fireplace, heated blanket, robes, and all toiletries you need. TV was nice, place is quiet, and I'm sure the views are beautiful (I was fogged in). 5 minute walk to everything and market. I had a problem with the hot water in my room and the hotel owner was quick to respond- she sent fruit to my room, allowed me to shower in a room where the water was working just fine and I was able to take my hot shower, and they even allowed me to keep the room until 5pm when I was leaving for my train. I thought this was really really nice and appreciated how they responded to this problem. I would recommend it for sure!
Best place to stay in Sapa”
The Sapa View Hotel was perfect for our stay in Sapa. It has the best location with access to best views and Sapa town centre but a little quieter area. Fantastic rooms, and the most friendly and helpful staff. We checked out other hotels, but this remains our first choice.
