Our stay was absolutely phantasmagorical! The rooms are beautifully stylish and elegant, staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent with so many different choices of food, fruit, salads, bread etc. We truly had an awesome time and will be going again for a week away this Easter.

Hotel centrally located,modern deco,clean”
The hotel is nearer to V&A Waterfront, airport and the shopping mall.Check in was easy and when we left at 03H00 there was someone who opened for us. It was easy to locate the hotel. It looks old from the outside but inside it is modernly decorated. The room was bit small but it is what we chose and beautifully decorated. The shower is big enough. Wi fi was working perfectly. The wardrobe was not what we are used to its kind of modern if you have lots of clothes you must buy or ask for more hangers. The only downside for us was the breakfast it was only one thing everyday there is no variety. The only thing that I enjoyed was the mushroom.

The only negative to this place is the parking issue. Which was available a block away from the premises at an additional cost of zar100. Roadside parking can cost up to atleast zar17 an hour. Failure to pay relults in parking fines.

We really decided on the last minute to getaways for a weekend and considering the time of year we were left with little options in term of value for money places. I friend recommended Lux and I must say it was a great decision. Not to pricey looking at time of year, staff are pleasant and professional. The staff was friendly and super helpful. Facilities was basic but an absolute bargain for a ons night stay over. Parking in the street was a bit scary till I was put at ease that their is a full time car watch and security company. Interior funky and well designed.

Good but can be better”
Had a quick weekend breakaway and struggled with parking initially which was frustrating but the helpful staff made it bearable. Very neat and funky upmarket designs which had us taking a lot of selfies :-) Did not eat at hotel restaurant but glimpses of dishes looked good. Apart from that internet did go off, which does affect the use of smart tv and had an issue with the aircon, but all in all a pleasant experience. Will definitely return if I have the opportunity. Thank you to the friendly, accommodating and professional staff

Great concept, but requires attention to detail”
I was pleasantly surprised by the look and feel of the new hotel on the interior perspective. I would recommend that extra focus is placed on the smaller details such as the welcome mat at the hotel, overall cleanliness of the hotel on each floor's coffee station. The entire location requires more security as the homeless people are quite aggressive that walk around the facilities. Check -out is very early and should be reviewed, especially over a weekend. Otherwise great opportunity to become extremely popular.

Very unpleasant stay. ”
I arrived and was immediately interrogated by the security guard and threatened to have my car clamped if I didn’t pay an upfront parking fee - Which was not mentioned in any capacity during the booking process. The hotel staff was unhelpful in this regard as well and just told me to pay the fee. The hotel staff was fine at best. There was no professionalism and I felt unwelcome. They struggle to help solve problems and the breakfast service was subpar. The room was fine but nothing I’d go back for.

A pleasant hotel”
Cute, boutique hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Location is city center, a 5 to 10 min cab ride to many places. The room was not big, and the room that I got had a window but the view was of other windows. But it was clean and comfortable. Bed was good. The interior design was nice, especially the wallpaper. The breakfast buffet had the essentials and lasted until about 11am. I wouldn’t mind staying here again next time
