I have stayed at several hotels during my month long series of business trips all over the country and I have to say this hotel ranks the highest from all of them. While it isn't centrally located, it is just a short walk from all the attractions in Surin town. Located just opposite the Surin hospital, you can easily hike a tuktuk to get anywhere if you're not a fan of walking. The hotel houses Big Cheese which serves both local and western cuisines at very affordable rates. The staff is extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The hotel also has a well equipped gym, meeting room, spa and a little green sitting area on the terrace. At first I regretted not booking another hotel near the bus terminal, but after the first night I am certain Slive is definitely the better choice and probably the best option for your stay in Surin.

Stayed 2 nights however irresistibly stay for 1more night. Friendly hospitality staffs from car park to restaurants. Not as big as expected but excel full function designed from clean rooms to rooftop garden and fully equipped fitness alike branded fitness center. BF buffet line is more than expected, differ varieties in our 3day stay. Coming everyday are 2cans soft drink, 2snacks, and 2bottles drinking water, surplus free self service coffee machine at lobby and welcome herbal drinks. Couldn't ask for more at this valued paid. Much appreciated and grateful for everything the hotel owner and staffs have dedicated for Surin province. U R the best. Will be our memorable stay ever.

very clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. all room facilities worked fine with free tea, coffee, water and cola. roof top garden for smokers or just to sit. good location not far from big C. good parking with a security man. staff were friendly and helpful. breakfast pretty average most non Thai items cold as no flame under heated tray. I would stay at this hotel again if visiting Surin

We have stayed here a few times now and every time we have visited we have found the hotel to be clean and comfortable with excellent staff, I’m always impressed by the way the guy in control of their car park and the way he makes sure you park your car ok and when you leave stopping the traffic to let you out. Would highly recommend the hotel.

Simply one of the best hotels in any category anywhere in Thailand for the price. Great bed and linen gives you a great night sleep. Room has all the amenities you need and then some. Breakfast was more than adequate..this alone I give 5 star. Mainly lady staff makes a difference. Attentive , polite and professional. Car park has a lift straight to room. Overall more than a pleasant stay. I supposed to meet a friend for drinks that night but ended up lazing in bed.

Wonderful place with a wide variety of free breakfast, clean facilities and lots of nice photo spots. Gym is well-equipped, and basement carpark is very convenient. They even prepared kids bedsheets for family room which is very thoughtful. Super recommended if you in staying in Surin, even with young children.

Slive hotel is an excellent hotel with more convenient location for most of the centers and locations need for any traveler to Surin.. 2km away from main station, and only 3.2 km from main shopping center

I've reviewed this hotel a few times and nothing really changed. It's a boutique hotel that is improving its facilities. It now has onsite massage anda coffee shop attached downstairs. The staff are always helpful and the rooms are always clean and everything always works. Will stay again.

This is a great property with a very friendly staff. Great gym for a smaller style hotel. Excellent beds and sheets. Everything very modern and new. Shower didn't seem to have hot water, only warm. No international cable channels. Overall, a fantastic hotel.

What a surprise ”
The hotel was much nicer than I expected. The rooms look as if brand new. The gym is very nice and looks showroom new. The beds are comfortable and as a nice touch snacks were provided. A free breakfast was also included and it was very good. I see no point in staying anywhere else.
