We experienced the warmest treatment in Dalat during our 16-day tour! I and girlfriend took night bus from Ho Chi Minh and arrived at the hotel at 3am when the stars were still shining in the sky. The villa is owned by a local couple aged 60 or so, we called them adopted mama and papa, at that time, mama and papa were not awaken, they got up, opened the door and prepared additional breakfast and Vietnamese coffee for us. Mama also booked bus tickets for us and papa even went to the company to take the tickets for us! Before we rented their motorbike to turn around the city, papa had already added nearly full gasoline to the tank! The villa is beautiful and the surroundings is great with a small hill located nearby, we walked in the forest and took some photos with the fresh air and warm light, and nearby are also many french-stylish villas and flowers! The only issue is this villa is about 8km away from the city center, but if you ride a motorbike, you can experiences more special Dalat! The room is very clean, comfortable, we really enjoyed the stay!

6 KM outside the town was not expected, but the villa and the owner were very bright and helpful. Although breafast is not the European or Thai variety. The kind lady took us to a restaurant and helped us order a meal on our first night. I think I had dog curry and my wife asked for stir fried vegetable and got a salad smothered in a dressing. So we did not go back again, but as we were so far from town , there was nowhere else. On our final day, my wife at the insistence of Ms Khao, the villa owner whoasked for the money required to book seats on a sleeping bus . unfortunately un beknown to us, when the bus arrived, it was not the bus we had arrived on or wanted to travel back on, but a semi dilapidated sitting up bus, a fellow passenger advised us of the cost of tickets and we sadly discovered we had given the fare of 260 000 VNDmore than the cost should have been, When we arrved in Saigon, we telephoned the lady who put us on the wrong bus, she said to e mail her which we did, but we've had no answer. I am 75 years old with rheumatic knees and the 10 hour journey suffered on the cheaper bus has now left me considering artificial knee joints. Sadly, we had a good impression of the villa and its owner, which currently has left us with a feeling of regret for having held a good opinion of the villa and staff until this final chapter. and would suggest, if you wish a quiet stay in Da Lat , then subject to financial reserves, this might be a place you might like to visit. But if you like eating out or need to, as the villa provide no meals, perhaps something nearer the town centre would be advisable

Warm and friendly, just like living at home”

My fiancee and I stayed here for 2 nights through Valentine's Day and we enjoyed our stay. This is a family-owned villa so this place has a touch of family. We were treated not like strangers, but more like a family member coming home. The rooms were spacious and the cabinets all had locks, which was something we appreciated. The bed was comfortable and the villa had lovely decorations with a theme of love since Da Lat is known as Vietnam's City of Love. Another thing I loved was how the owner was very helpful especially with translation since she was educated in both Vietnamese and English. She was able to give directions to taxi drivers when we needed to. When we departed, we were given a nice little token of their appreciation with a nice letter. Needless to say, my fiancee and I were touched. I would definitely come back to Villa Du Lac Dalat.

Lần đầu tiên mình được ở 1 căn phòng rộng rãi và thoáng mát đến vậy. Nếu có dịp quay lại đà lạt chắc chắn mình sẽ đến Villa Du Lạc này. Với sự nhiệt tình hiếu khách của vợ chồng cô chủ đã làm chuyến đi trở nên thân thiện và gần gũi hơn.

Phòng 2 người rộng rãi, thoải mái, vệ sinh. Chủ nhà dễ mến, chu đáo. Hơi xa trung tâm.

- Khách sạn xa trung tâm, không thuận tiện lắm cho việc đi lại. - Khách sạn sạch sẻ, nhân viên thân thiện, yên tỉnh, thoải mái - Do xa trung tâm, nên đi chơi khuya về hơi.... ngại đấy
