It was hard to find an entrance. The reception was on the fifth floor. My room was signed on the sixth floor. However, there was no elevator to the sixth floor, so I had to carry all my luggage to the sixth floor by climbing up stairs. Moreover, the air condition in the room did not work. The room was very hot. Early in the morning, there were a lot of noises from hall. The breakfast in the hotel was not too bad.
A definite value-for-money for me!”
Honestly, the moment you stepped outta Budapest-Keleti Railway Station (main hub), you can immediately see the hotel along the street adjacent to McD.
It has all the basic things needed to sleep, shower, rest and get on with your Budapest adventure.
I had the breakfast and it's good enough to keep you on your toes to start the day!
I hope I can stay here again next time!
decent stay ”
Hotel location was right in front of the train station, probably about 7mins walk. A bigger signage on the front door could be better cause there were too many signage around. Since the hotel was location on the upper floors, so we could see Budapest night view (although not too clear).
Receptionists were very friendly and made sure that the stay was pleasant. Breakfast options were a lot. Metro was just 1 minute walk from the hotel. GREAT!
Had a vey pleasant in this hotel.
refrigerator and aircon not working. the maintenance came to attempt to fix it the next day, but still did not work. aircon did not cool and was leaking. the elevator was not working so we had to carry our luggages up two flights of stairs. staff were really friendly and nice though.
Outstanding clean older hotel”
Right opposite train station, numerous food options. Clean, well run, adequately heated for our January visit. The incredible free breakfast was a plesant surprise. I felt it was a bargain.
We stayed in the suite of rooms with kitchen etc. It was huge clean and had everything we needed. Room serviced every day. Breakfast was buffet style and staff were very helpful. My only issue is that I would've preferred to be nearer the centre however would not have got what we got for the price and the 'big Bus' stopped just outside of the hotel, train station close by and metro station a minute walk away which was safe at night (single female and 16 year old young adult) and cost very little to use - about 300 Hungarian F's/ £1 ish
The hotel is very interesting, you enter a big building which has a dark atrium. Reception and breakfast room is located on 5th floor. Breakfast is not so rich, only some basic things.
Location is the best, you can reach everywhere you want easily by bus or metro.
I stayed in a room that was located another building, there was a small kitchen (normal and microwave oven, dishes etc.) can be used by two rooms.
Room and location”
Room is okay. Lift is not access through room and it is not convenient for big luggage.
Good value for money”
Location aside a metro station with a good connection to the airport and with the center of the town.
Room with a big area, good bed and very clean. Flour not so clean. Bathroom, with shower, was very clean, everyday. The bathroom has hair drayer, but only soap dispenser, not shampoo.
Breakfast good, but in a small room and stuff not so performant in the cleaning of the tables.
Hotel recception very efficient.
Choose other hotels for this price”
- Location. This hotel is right next to the train station. Easily accessible by public transport.
- the employee whose name starts with G (forgot his name..long hair dude) at the reception desk is a absolutely amazing and will help you with everything.
- the hotel is on the 5th floor of a office residential building. The lift doesn't go to the 6th floor so please carry your luggage all the way to the top.
- the AC does not work!!! Won't cool even though it's on max temperature. Our first room was HOT!!!! We got a slightly better room later. Still super hot that my friend decided to sleep on the floor near the ac as it was better down there.
- Livia at the reception desk was very rude when we asked her about the airport express bus. Learn a thing or two from your colleague (the guy whose name starts with G) !
