We were female with young children, checking in with many luggages, but the receptionist (a young blond good looking guy) did not even bother to move his feet to help us, only gave us the key of the storage to put all the luggages in, and insisted with the check in at 3pm, although it was 2.30pm. I'm sorry to tell you that you need to go elsewhere to learn what service is, or at least people on the street could help us if they see females and children with luggages, let alone people who work in services.
Furthermore, the noise of the street was loud and the room was hot, we could not sleep at all.

Business and pleasure”
Hotel is in an excellent location very close to Nationaltheater station, breakfast at the hotel is also really good. We booked a double room which unfortunately was very dated and lacked AC and reasonable ventilation. In short the room was small and very stuffy. Inward facing windows into the light well of the building😣. Hotel has no real resteraunt or bar area. Might stay there again but in a better appointed room! Rooms in need of a refurbishment !
It's in the central of city. You can walk to anywhere in city. There is many places interesting to go. It's very near shopping center.
Run down and unmaintained”
We checked into our hotel room but discovered the shower water pressure is very low. We had a change of room, but it was very far away from our current room and had to shift all our luggages by ourselves, there were stairs all over.
In our second room the toilet door lock doesnt work but I guess its fine when we were a couple.
Breakfast area is without any view - narrow and small space, bad ventilation and the advertising regarding the quality of the food is not in line with realities
Don't let the Best Western name fool you”
Yes, it's part of the Best Western franchise but it's a bit different than I would normally think of a BW in the US. I won't lie, the hotel was a bit dated and the pillows flat. But that's the worst thing I'll say about it. The room was great and served its purpose. The staff was lovely and friendly. And the location is perfect for visiting most of the sights. You can easily walk here from the train station. The breakfast buffet was pretty great too. I would definitely stay here again when in Oslo.
Great location, terrific breakfast”
We were in Oslo for the Syttende mai celebrations. This hotel was right on the parade route, and very accessible to everything in Oslo. It was extremely clean and well-kept, and the breakfast was amazing. We even had kransekake (Norwegian ring cakes) at the breakfast on the 17th of May, because of the Norwegian Independence day holiday. I would definitely stay here again, and would recommend highly.
Very central & great breakfast 😋
Right on the main street. Lots of cafes nearby, great deli next door, handy to Central train station. Can walk to all main attractions easily. Great breakfast. Pleasant helpful staff.
convenient, comfortable, helpful staff, great breakfast, all round a great stay
