The garden greenery and peace, spacious rooms right around the pool, green and serene
Water was Brown, I don't think this is normal..
No cleaning if you leave, you have to ask for it!
Nearby the road so it's a bit noisy..
Woman in charge is very nice and helpful. Just don't do your laundry there because you will not get everything back and it takes forever!
Disappointing. Bathroom not clean. Wifi not working. Door broken. Charging for everything ”
Lack of communication with the staff. They will try to sell tours that are more expensive than the other agencies. Also the lady tried to sell me a transfer which was 200 pesos more expensive than the other transfers. I asked her if I could do a tour on my last day even though I needed to leave at 5pm. She said yes, took my money for the tour but she knew i needed to leave at 5pm and that there was no transfer after 1pm. She deliberately knew and took my money and it took 24 hours to get it back. I took the breakfast and wanted to have a tea instead of the coffee which is included. They charged me 80 pesos twice for a tea. They brought me a box of tea which was overdue since 2016 !! the bathroom was not clean. The door is not working I got stuck in the room for 15 minutes. Wifi is not Working. I don't understand how they can charge 50€ the night it is a shame ! I wouldn't recommend at all...
Rusty water supply, no electricity in the afternoon & staff's are not that competent to attend to the needs of its guests.
the staff is awesome. the location is 5 min walking from the fuss and the center so its nice.
Water in the shower smells very bad.
This hotel would have been fine for, say, $15 per night. I paid far more than that, on the assumption that there is a correlation between cost and quality. I was wrong. The toilet seat was broken and kept falling off the toilet. There is a soap dispenser in the shower; it didn't work. For a room much cheaper than this in Manila the towels and sheets would be changed every day. Here they were never changed. But it is impossible to keep sand out of the bed. So each day the sheets became more and more filled with sand... As I said, if I had paid $15 per night I wouldn't complain. But I paid 3x that much. My recommendation is, if you can get the room for $15 per night, and if you are ok with a $15/night room, then you will be satisfied here. Don't pay more than that or, like me, you will be unhappy with the room.
Along the hway, nice clean room, not enough space to walk around but not a big deal. Porch outside where you can eat and hang your clothes.
not worth it”
Stayed 2 nights at bulul garden. Main reasons for our stay was the fact that the advertisement says they offer in room safety boxes and luggage storage. However, this was not the case. There was no safety box and no luggage storage. The communication with the staff was difficult as basic English was for them even hard to understand, we wanted to talk with the management but first she was sick and later we were told she was in Manila. All a bit strange! Furthermore, rooms are very small, we could barely fit our backpacks. We decided to move to another hotel after our two nights, very happy about that decision.
Great stay apart from one issue on arrival. When we arrived they had overbooked and we were moved for one night to another hotel which was of a poor standard.
We also booked a tour with the hotel which was poor. I would go out and find someone else to book with.
We were a group of 4 across 2 rooms and it was TIGHT! You could hardly move between the beds and there was very little room for bags and such like.
Breakfast was very average and I dont think they did food at any other point of the day.
Friendly enough staff who were quite helpful although laundry took a lot longer than they said it would.
