Very small room.
Small bathroom that you could not even move while taking a shower.
Bathroom amenities were good though.
Wifi not available.
Elevator out of service.
No help with luggage going up the stairs, while elevator was pit of service.
Good location, walking distance to public teansports and Eiffel Tower.
Average service only by Staff, nothing extra mile.
It was Ok if you want to stay in budget near Effiel Tower”
Hotel was ok because lift was not working when we checked in. Our room was in third floor and we have to go upto 3rd floor by our own selves. No AC in the room. It was average. Rooms are clean. Bathrooms are also clean.
Only advisable if you really need to stay near to Eiffel tower. Hotel is around 1 km from Effiel tower.
Staff is good but they dont understand English only reception person understand English.
My door didn’t lock, so as a solo traveler it was quite unnerving having to take all my important documents with me every time I left the room. Also, there appeared to be a large sock covering the firealarm and at the end of my stay I was basically accused of putting it there. My room was on the top floor and only after I had arrived was I notified that the elevator was out of service. The r
The staff were all very friendly and accomodating.”
The beds and pillows were so comfortable. We had to switch rooms due to a booking error on my part, and the bed was just as comfortable as the one in the first room. Great Staff!
Hotel is just about 5-7 mins. walk to the Eiffel Tower. Restaurants and grocery store nearby. 3mins. Walk to dupleix metro station. Staff very nice. Breakfast is good just right (eggs, sausages, meat cuts, cheese ,fruits and breads). Rooms are just right (typical Paris room sizes) only hard thing is that the lifts are not working you need to carry your luggages. But overall had a nice 3 night stay
Advertisement and real condition of hotel is totally different.”
The lift is not working since March and we were not informed. No telephone in the room.
Can check in only after 3pm and have to check out at 11 am although in advertisement mentioned 2300 hrs. We want to get refund back.
Excellent Location, Poor Facilities.”
I have chosen this hotel because near to Eiffel and the price is quite ok.
When we arrived, the elevator was not working and of course I ask for lowest level room (I have 2 big luggages and 1 small bag). And taa..daa... they staff gave us on 4th level, and said it was full.
They seemed don't wanna help at all. My husband had to bring the 2 big luggages (FYI, the stair was steep) to 4th level.
And I went through Google and Tripadvisor, found out that this elevetor was not working for few weeks.
I got room number 40. I spent 3 nights there.
No phone in the room. On the last night, I walked down to ask help to call (local Paris number) my airport shuttle and they refused to help because the company that I booked didn't has any agreement with them (???). I just asked for help to call. They refused it.
What a good service.
Overall.. nothing good from this hotel except the location. Be prepare!
Everything was superb specially the breakfast and the staff. Highly recommended!
A gem of a hotel at the heart of the 15th.”
Great location, value for money, basic but tasteful. Wonderful restuarants around and walking distance to Tour Eiffel. What a hidden gem this place is.
we are happy to be served by the staff when we arrived.
they are friendly and polite. they do not hesitate to assist when you have something to enquire.
the hotel is very accessible to travel to nearby places such as the eiffel tower and the train station to anywhere in paris.
Decent place to feel like locals ”
This old hotel is in an old neighborhood. You can feel like you live among the average middle-income Parisians.
The cafeteria across the little market is not worth the price you pay. Is too elevated. The hotel has a nice breakfast ”
The bus stop across the street takes you to the main touristic areas of Paris.
Better Hostel's out there at a better rate”
The ONLY good thing about this hotel is the location. That being said, there is NO air conditioning in the entire hotel which negates the positive note about the location as the windows have to stay open to get any type of air. The road surrounding the hotel is very loud, all night... even on Sundays. The rooms are way outdated and very small. The beds are ok. The bathrooms are like closets. Pray that you don't drop anything in the tiny shower as you won't be able to be over to reach the floor. The toilet in our room is stuffed into the corner so if you are even average sized, you will struggle getting to it. We were with a party of four. The other couples bed was pretty much on the floor and very uncomfortable. There were people who have posted about the hotel offering fans. I wouldn't really call them that. They are tall fans that have NO power and offer no help in a heated room. If you are a breakfast person, you're out of luck. The only place in the area where we could find breakfast was a Starbuck's several blocks down the road. Then at night, the restaurants in the area never seem to close. There are younger kids walking the streets yelling, breaking glass, and peeing everywhere. I know that this is Paris but spend the extra money and get a better, secure place. Like you see posted on others, you are given a old school key... which isn't a problem. The problem is when you leave the hotel, you have to leave your key with the front desk. When you return, you have to tell them your room number to get your key. Again, not the problem. The problem is, you can say any room that has a key on the wall and they'll hand it to you. NO ID, nothing. During our stay, we never had the same person so it's not like they knew who we were. I ended up taking computer, watches, anything of value anytime I left has I don't trust the safety of this hotel. Again, spend the extra money and find something more decent.
Bathroom was shockingly small. Room wasn't very big either but location is great.
Awesome France! but worst Hotel experience”
Only good thing about this hotel is its location (around 1 Km from Eiffel Tower), else everything was just OK or bad, certainly people are not choosing this hotel for amenities.
Still the room size is way beyond expectation - I mean, small, very small, considering the room booked for two people with an infant, the room provided to us was like a single occupancy room.
Even though, we have booked hotel and paid in advance (full amount to Agoda for 2 person), the receptionist guy Mr. Hamid told us on the penultimate day of our visit that that the infant charges for bed will be charged separately as this is the local law here, even though we have made payment in full to Agoda and also got the remark from them that we are accompanying with an infant. Still, this person took advantage from us and have taken extra amount by intimidating us to pay, as he threatened to call the Police.
The amenities (specifically, speaking room service) was pathetic as when we occupied the room, there was no one to help us for chocked washbasin. The receptionist himself came and opened the chocked basin.
Anyway, we thank France and the people there who have really made our journey memorable but can surely vouch that this hotel is not good as the people there are a BIG Cheat!
Staff are friendly ”
Staff and friendly n helpful. Close to Eiffel
Tower and historic places.
Value for Money. Excellent location”
Not for particular travellers. Room is a lil old, and standing shower area is small and doors are broken for the shower cubicle. But overall a pleasant stay. Note: no view of the eiffel tower though its location is really excellent!
clean, good location, friendly staff, value for money”
