Great facilities and nice staff with good size bedrooms. Lovely leisure suite so well worth staying and would definitely stay again.
Great value and stay for 1 night. A bed short in room on arrival sorted very promptly ”
A free drink was offered for all the party due to room error. Great customer service
Chillax in perfect conditions”
This hotel is in a great location and cannot be faulted. Easy access to parking (free) which is a must on any hotel travel.
Extremely friendly staff both front stage and backstage.
Executive room was amazing, clean and bright.
Spa facilities are good and stick rules in procedure as some of us are here to relax.
I would definitely go back without thinking twice.
We had a nice weekend break for a good price including use of the spa facilities.
I had no preconceptions about Hallmark, Leyland, having not stayed there before and if I'm honest, not knowing the brand. I stay in many hotels around the country and have set my own minimum acceptable criteria; good bed, good shower, clean room, good breakfast. I have come to expect little else extra in the UK, particularly in the area of customer services, so anything more is a bonus. At Hallmark I was greeted by smiles followed by an effortless, pleasant and efficient check-in. The room was on the ground floor (down from the reception), which I feared was going to a basement room, (we know how dark and miserable they can be), but to my surprise it was a fully light ground floor, clearly on a split level. Hallmark is near the M6 but there was no sound from it whatsoever. A peaceful night, good shower and excellent hot buffet breakfast, to set me off on my day. I'd recommend Hallmark Leyland to all travellers. Mike
Although part of the hotel were a little dated stay was great value for money. Could not be more convenient literally just off the M6 slip. Breakfast was reasonable buffet style. Staff were attentive and kept everything topped up.
Staff efficient, personable, helpful, polite and respectful.
Do NOT stay here!!!”
Hallmark Hotel Preston Leyland was terrible.
Firstly there is no lift so had to carry all our luggage plus an infant and a baby with stroller up the stairs, no assistance from reception was offered. The WiFi in the room doesn't work, 3 times I went downstairs to query only to find the so called 24 hour reception empty with nobody around. The worst of the stay though was the noise all night. The locate the family room at the beginning of the corridor and there were guests returning from nights out drunk making so much noise outside our room as they passed. This went on until nearly 3.00am. 4 times either one of or both of my children were woken by the shouting and there was zero control by the hotel to prevent or manage this. Absolutely disgusting. Will never stay at this, or any other Hallmark Hotel again!
Small, but good deal”
The room was very small, and basically in the basement. No a/c or fans, though we could/should have gone to the front desk to request one. No elevator, heavy luggage was awkward. This deal included dinner and breakfast, both of which were excellent. The on-site restaurants was upscale, and delicious. Side note: the waitress set my menu down in front of me, the corner of which was accidently on the tea light candle and left. When I picked it up, it was actually flaming, but we extinguished it without difficulty. She said it wasn't the first time that's happened - it was for me!
Breakfast and dinner was excellent. everyday. Just perfect. Wide choice of meals if you look at the bar menu as well. Restaurant is elegant.
