This hotel is quite good in all other aspects except NEVER book this hotel if they only have the small room! You just cannot even turn around inside....! Other than that, staffs are good, location is good for underground to central London and easy to drive out of London. I suggest they should change all the small room beds to single only..and don't sell as a double room.
We booked for 3 women and was given a suite which was actually a log cabin in the garden. It was very spacious and modern clean and comfortable. It had a kitchenette with coffee machine and pods supplied and a huge rainfall shower. There was plenty of storage and wardrobe space and the bed was a super king and very comfy. It is open plan with no door to the bedroom which was fine for us and a sofabed in the lounge, which they had already made up for us. The kitchen has a washing machine but i would think a dishwasher woukd be better. The staff were friendly and helpful but we didn't have the breakfast as cooked our own, although there is only hobs and microwave no oven. Parking is an issue as only space for 5 cars at the hotel, there is on road parking round the corner but on restricted times but when we had to move the car we parked in the Green King car park across the road that was very cheap. I would definitely stay here again. The tube and bus stops are close by.
My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights for our 20th wedding anniversary, and was delighted with the place. Our room was at the end of the garden (Deluxe Room), which was very peaceful and quiet with an excellent large bed, and a fantastic shower. The room was clean and included a fridge and a microwave. The hotel itself is very well situated, with the centre of Ealing a 10 minute walk away, which has a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Ealing Broadway station, also in the centre of Ealing, can be used for District and Central line services into London. However, North Ealing station is literally a 2 minute walk away from the hotel for Piccadilly line services into Central London. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful, we arrived at the hotel early and our room wasn't quite ready, but we were allowed to leave our cases there while we went for a walk to check out the area. On arriving back at the hotel, the cases had been already been taken to our room. Great place
Ideal for wembley”
A few problems at start but were quickly sorted. Air con in room not working - that was soon sorted it was us that didn't know what to do. Door handle. Fell off again very apologetic and did come to room. To try and fix Room noisy as on ground floor but 2nd night did sleep better. Very attentive staff Breakfast cooked fresh and lovely Nice back garden you wouldn't think we were on a main road. Fab underground stop north ealing a few mins away it was so quaint. Would recommend
Nepresso and L'Occitane”
Nepresso in our room and they provide L'Occitane toiletries! The coffee and breakfast at the nearby 11 Coffee & Co are excellent. The tube station is just 3 mins away. The staff is so so helpful too! Really enjoyed our stay!
Friendly staff, good room in a reasonable location ”
Good quality room with really helpful and friendly staff. We arrived very late as we had a very early morning flight into Heathrow, when we arrived they kindly put us into a particularly quiet room and let us check out an hour late to help us deal with our jet lag. When we were leaving the staff were also very friendly and tried to help and offer advice.
Lovely staff & located near train station”
Attentive staff, inclusive of breakfast. Kettle was not washed & the cleaning staff was not very diligent in their job. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was near Ealing Broadway (10-15 mins walk) & North Ealing (less than 5 mins away). Very limited parking lots which are usually full (except during the day). Love that the train goes directly into town.
Good quite hotel”
reserved a garden view but was not near to garden.
Decent stay, great staff”
great stay however I found mosquitos in the suite room.
Overnight stay whilst attending a concert at Wembley Stadium”
Lovely, clean and fresh room as described. Only downside was parking, there are five spaces outside the front of the hotel that are first come first serve. Was able to park on the road around the corner from the hotel so not too much of a problem.
The spirit of England.. Good Manner Services , boutique choice”
Represent the spirit of England , Good Services and warm greeting.. Apparently provide multi languages in the reception , good recommendation for nearby community facilities and shops.. You will quite enjoy your short journey in Western London for take a break as a British as well.
Budget Friendly Romantic Hotel”
We had a wonderful stay here. It's a little bit, 20-30 minutes, outside of London, but it's right on the Piccadilly Line so attractions were easy to get to. There are some really great food options near by away from the hustle and bustle of London.
Hotel 55 is a fantastic little gem, not far from Ealing high street. The hotel is spotless, room was very comfortable, nice touches such as water and a decent coffee maker. There is a nice pub close by and plenty of cafes and shops close by.
Boutique hotel with great location and service”
We stayed at the suite. Everything appeared new. Room has Krups coffee machine with complimentary capsules, microwave, washing machine with dryer, and of course the L'Occitane toiletries. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Bathroom is clean and modern. Only downside was that room is slightly cramped. Not much space to move around. Also, nothing much around the area near the hotel. However, it's just a very short walk to the North Ealing tube station, approx 2-3 minutes walk. Service was fantastic. We arrived few hours before checked in time, they gave us free coffee n pastries while they rush to get our room ready. Guy at the reception is very friendly and helpful! Sorry, we didn't get your name! Will we return? Yes, the price and room facilities made up for its location and room size.
Good hotel and great location”
I've stayed here twice now. The hotel is very clean, tidy and modern, with everything you need for a short London stay. There's even a fridge in the room. Access to public transport is great, just 2 mins from North Ealing (Piccadilly line, about 45 mins into central London) and there's a bus stop right outside if you want to go into Ealing. Also about 15 mins drive from Heathrow. There are 4 parking spaces so get there early, or the station car park is just around the corner and is cheap and secure. The rooms are small. Room service isn't what it could be, although the staff are friendly and polite, there just don't seem to be enough of them. Don't expect your room to be cleaned every day. I haven't tried the restaurant so can't comment but there's a small bar and a nice back garden with covered/heated decked area. For the price this hotel is a good recommendation. I'd definitely stay here again.
Very nice small hotel. We had an offer which made it well worth the money. Excellent location for train to London, and very central to our Family. Takes 30 min to central London. Clean, newly renovated and very nice and friendly staff. Cosy garden in the back for breakfast, when the weather gets a bit warmer. We will definitely recommend it.
A nice stay”
It is around half vay from the city and from heathrow. The area it is located looks like a standard british town, and if you wenture around in the area you can experince quite different english style houses. The people workin at the hotel were all welcoming and nice. The rooms was just as I expected and just the right size. I was not super fond of the breakfast there, but all the other things were good.
Great for the price ”
Room was small but great for one night. Staff were lovely. Very near to tube but a long journey to centre. Police car sirens sounding all night so did not sleep well but not hotels fault. Excellent for price but location too far out for us after a long day. No complaints. Would use again if location served purpose.
Excellent base for a trip to the City of London”
Our assigned room wasn't quite ready when we arrived but the staff immediately upgraded our room and helped us settle in. The staff were really welcoming and couldn't have been any more helpful. The tube station was immediately behind the hotel - 5 minutes walk and we had access to the city. I would thoroughly recommend Hotel 55 for anyone wanting a good, clean and reasonably priced hotel when visiting London.
