Good location to stay if you plan to visit Paris, very near metro station and can walk to almost all the attractions. Staffs are friendly, our club room is nice but wifi in our room is not working well.
Excellent accommodations and staff”
Staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was exceptional. Rooms were in superior shape. A beautiful hotel in the heart of it all
Well-Located Left-Bank Hotel”
The Hotel d'Orsay is a reasonably priced very well-located hotel. It is near restaurants, shops and the Metro and within a few minutes walk of the Louvre and several other museums. The Staff is very friendly. The room was modern, but small which is typical for Paris.
Fantastic hotel at ideal location”
Very good hotel with great facilities and friendly personnel! Highly recommended!
Great location, loved the hotel! ”
Was only there for one night, but will definitely book there again. Room was lovely, location was fabulous, everything one wants in a boutique Paris hotel!
We stayed for 6 days and the hotel staff couldn’t have beeen more helpful. Location very convenient. We had a Superior room in order to get a Queen size bed and it was worth the extra money. Room was very large and comfortable. We would come back.
We were offered an upgrade for a small fee as there was a no-show. We took the offer so the value for money for us was excellent. The room we had originally booked was too small and cramped but atmospheric. The upgrade was definitely worth it. The beds were comfortable, the shower/bath had good pressure and the hotel was in a perfect central location to get the best of Paris in the summer. The staff were accommodating and helpful. We would definitely come back and recommend this hotel. We didn't have any meals here so cannot comment.
Modern, Sophisticated, Hotel in a Perfect Location for First Time Tourists, Business Travelers”
I chose the Hotel D'Orsay because I have stayed at Esprit de France's other location the Hotel Saint Pere. This hotel group executes really well, all the rooms are well-appointed and the management speaks English and is very helpful.
I chose the Hotel D'Orsay because I wanted to be near the Seine. I generally stay more in the middle of Saint-Germain closer to the shops and restaurants, and wanted to change it up a bit.
My room was very tiny, including a too small chair for the desk. Everything else including air-conditioning that worked well, the sheets for the bedding, the towels, the minibar, everything else was great.
I think next time I will go back to staying in the middle of Saint-Germain but that is just my personal preference. You are so close to the Seine at this hotel, that you can walk out and take sunset pictures which I did and walk back quite easily. They have a very nice layout for cocktail hour as well.
When I was there the hotel was full of Americans. I think the location is perfect for first time tourists because you are so close to many of the top ten, must-see attractions. The hotel is located on a quiet street.
This is a hotel that is good for business travelers as well. The wifi and desk in the room is a good setup to get work done. The price is in line with what you pay for a hotel room of good quality in Paris.
Finally, the front desk staff, support staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. This is a very well-run hotel that is pleasant to stay in.
good location and friendly staff”
location, staff, clean
Quaint hotel in great location”
Service, location and bathroom amenities
Got a free upgrade so i might be biased.
Service was excellent with staff armed with a ready smile all the time.
location is prime with easy walking distance and access to various attractions. If all else fails, there's the Metro and RER.
Quaint little place”
Location was alright
Nicely furbished and clean. Room was spacious but little too dark for my liking. Staff were very friendly and nice. Location was central and easy walking distance to Lourve. The side street is a little too quiet for me and there isn't many food choices around.
Very friendly and attentive staff. ”
Staff, comfortable beds, good situation
Our request for a twin room was not passed on to the hotel, but on arrival they 'upgraded' us to a deluxe bedroom. However, I did not think that this was deluxe for a four star hotel. The carpet in the landing looked a bit worn, again not what I expect from a four star. There was tea and coffee in the room but not very much and no water unless you paid from the mini bar. A jug of fresh water is all we needed. The shower leaked which made the floor wet and slippery. The staff were informed of this. Looking on the website I feel that maybe we would have got a nicer room if we paid the extra and booked directly.
However, the staff were very helpful, not only with our missing bag debacle but with restaurants, cabs, etc. they were all charming and made our staff better.
Quality Hotel Quality Location”
Clean, spacious rooms, friendly and attentive hotel staff and superb location
Nice boutique hotel in good location”
Reasonably priced, convenient location
When in Paris one only really needs a hotel for sleeping. The hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. The breakfasts were good value and adequate. This hotel was very reasonably priced and offered all the comforts in the room of much more expensive hotels.
If you wanted a hotel for the views then you would probably be disappointed, but if convenience, comfort and price were more important then this is the hotel for you.
Old style hotel”
Friendly staffs, clean in general
We stayed there for two days. It is near the museum d'Orsay. The hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. She also provided some info of traveling. The decoration is in old style. The room is clean in general. It's special that the bathroom and toilet are separated in two rooms. The beds are comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the strange smell. I guess it may be the smell of wood or sofa. Though it is not strong that my husband said he did not notice the smell. I think the price is a little bit higher that it worth.
Hotel was fine, bit dated but location was perfect”
The hotel is located in the center of the center, 10 mins. walk from the Louvre. The closest parking garage for the car is about 15 mins walk away.
great location and clean”
location, helpful staff, clean and comfortable rooms
Just South of the river, 10 min walk from notre dame, 15 min from the champs elise! We really lucked out with the location here and the hotel was also very good! Did not eat breakfast here as I am not a fan of continental breakfasts, but this also looked good.
Would stay here again as great value for money
