We arrived in Sawai Madhopur at 11pm due to our train from Agra being delayed for 7 hours. Despite the time, when we arrived at the hotel a member of staff was outside waiting for us to help us with our bags and to check us in.
The room was a good size and clean and the bed was SO comfy.
Throughout our stay the staff were beyond helpful. They booked us two safaris and even brought us coffee at 6am before our morning safari! They were all so friendly and helped us to plan our onward journey and did some laundry that we had.
The food was good.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Good room, amazing staff and good value for money.
Terrible breakfast. Not good for lone females.”
Location, location, location
Bad. Not at all worth the money. Breakfast was very small, and cold. Didnt feel comfortable there as a solo female with the attention from male staff. The staff were very noisy. Banging and shouting all day and evening. I went out one night and the doors were locked and i couldnt get back in. Had to bang on door for half an hour in the dark. Hotel and rooms are also fery very cold, and only one blanket. Terrible stay, i couldnt wait to leave.
Cheap for location but needs a good clean”
Price, friendly staff, near Ranthambore
Helpful staff, secure room, but dirty and poorly maintained..
Staff very helpful; great food”
Staff are very helpful, the location is good, the food is great
We had a good stay at the Hotel Green Valley. The room had no window, but was otherwise comfortable although the pillows are hard (this seems to be common in Rajasthan). The staff helped with organizing a safari, and provided assistance to single female traveler by driving her to and from the booking office. The food was excellent - we had mostly Indian dishes. We would recommend this as a good budget option in Sawai Madhhopur.
Great stay at this inexpensive hotel”
Staff helpfulness , good size of room, inexpensive.
We expected very little from this hotel as it was one of the cheapest we had booked. It was however great with large room with air conditioner, TV which had English programmes and a shower room with constant hot water. Internet is available free on computer in lobby. The guy who runs it Anil was amazing and he made sure that all we wanted was catered for. We did not eat here at night but the breakfast he cooked us each morning (at whatever time we wanted) was very nice. As we were catching a midnight train he arranged for our bags to be put in a spare room and gave us the keys. Altogether a really good cheap place to stay
Nice room, good tours, bad food.”
The safari, the room, the location
The room was clean and the staff were friendly, but a little bit hard to understand. The location was fine and we booked safaris through the hotel, which were good. The food was terrible. All in all, it's a good budget option.
