Wi-Fi can be better. First day of staying it did not work at all. All of the rest days it was OK.
Breakfast is good.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Simple easy to find and very clean and tidy impressed with the spread for breakfast...”
Easy access on the metro...not many facilities locally....
Best value and nearest hotel for MiCo - Milano Congressi delegates”
I've travelled to a Milan Congress every other year for over 25 years. If you want a very short walk to and from the MiCo Congress Centre, you can do no better than this hotel. Breakfast is very adequate, the rooms small but fine if you just need to sleep, visit the congress and return. The area around is not well developed but the Metro is nearby if you need to get to the centre of Milan. This is not the place for families or entertaining business clients as it is too small and basic For me, however, all I need is somewhere to sleep near the congress so that I do not waste time travelling to and fro. I have tried all the other nearby hotels and this is my choice to return to.
Great location if you need to go to MiCo, But otherwise notAll That ”
Walking distance from Congress center, clean rooms but very small. All was well except (a) the fact that staff was sometimes helpful but other times rude, hurried and clearly not in the mood to help with your particular questions. (B) breakfast: very small choice of not so fresh products ( only the last day there were apricots and nectarines, the other days old oranges, old apples and only canned fruit), horrible scrambled eggs, terrible sweetened juices. Breakfast staff is very helpful and friendly though. Stick to boiled egg, yoghurt, cheese and nice breads and you'll have reasonable value for money. Would probably not choose again.
Extremely kind people, helpful. The hotel is good although not in the center but close to a metro station. Parking good
Everything was quite ok, but the Breakfast disappointed me very much!”
Everything was quite ok, but the Breakfast disappointed me very much! In Italy is unforgivable to have a horrible coffee in the morning...
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Portello Mini-Hotel, that Is mini In Price and maxi In Service.
Room was comfy and large enough. Most fiendly staff that met All my requirements.
Some sections need to be a Little refurbished and the Internet slows down during the evenings. Apart from that, All excellent.
Thank You Agoda for listing that Hotel
The room size is good, rhe room verry clean and the important is,the area is verry quiet and near from city center
Look around before you book”
Breakfast, close to public transport, fridge
The hotel was overpriced. We had a blocked shower and when we raised it with reception the response of we got was there are problems with the plumbing and no information about if it was going to be fixed. You could only shower for a couple of minutes, my partner had to wash her hair in the bathroom sink one morning. The shower also discharged smelly used water one morning although this was cleaned up by the hotel staff. Apart from that the room was clean but I probably wouldn't stay there again.
Extra magic tax to be paid at checkout. Nice hotel”
Location, breakfast, staff
Nice and convenient. A bit noisy if your room faces the main street. Good windows though.
5€/person per day was asked at the end of the stay.
comfortably located near congress center”
location, bed, distance
i was there just to be at the congress, so no emotional value to the trip. all was ok. Milan was overpriced that week.
Hotel without restaurant and Bar”
The Hotel is nice good placed and Employees are very kindly and helpfully. The Breakfast is ok for this class of hotel
What is not so good: 1. No Restaurant and Roomservice, but good restaurant 10 minutes to walk. 2. A signboard shows Bar, but i found only tellermachines for softdrinks and coffee.
Good hotel for the purpose of watching soccer”
About 30 minutes walk to San siro stadium, friendly staff at reception, warm comfortable room
+ Wifi in hotel
+ No kettle in room but you can ask for hot water from the reception
Not extremely suitable for tourists, as we would later come to realise - about 8 or 9 stops away from the main central shopping areas and Duomo. Quite taken aback when we first got to the hotel as it wasn't how we had pictured it in our heads, from the pictures we got from various websites, but hotels in Europe are generally expensive and small so this, in comparison, is quite affordable I guess.
