Lovely premises, great breakfast, but staff needs a few lessons ”
We absolutely loved the hotel and enjoyed hanging out by the pool and eating on the terrasse. The breakfast was very nice but the employees in the kitchen and at the front were not very good.
Pathetic welcome and service of Reception staff”
We just had a night stay at this hotel.Location wise the hotel is fine but on arrival very insipid welcome by the night staff as we arrived around midnight straight from the airport. After checking in the room,we wanted to have some tea/coffee in our room but there was no milk with the refreshments in the room. The room phone does not dial through to the reception so my husband had go to reception - another member of staff was there who was rather rude and was very reluctant to give any milk pots( the ones in plastic containers) and questioned my husband how many people are in the room when he asked for more than 2 milk pots! Breakfast in the morning was okayish. Morning staff in breakfast room and reception (Gabriel) are more welcoming.
Good hotel close by the airport.”
It was walking distance from the airport. Breakfast is good for the price.
not too far from the tourist area.
Very basic hotel with tiny rooms”
Staff was rude during checkin- room was a closet- bed and bedding were very minimalist. Only positive is that it was walking distance to the airport and yet no noise from the airport
At the hotel.
Great location near Marco Polo airport”
As noted by my 5 star ratings, Venice Resort is a superb hotel. Moreover, it has a nice bar and restaurant. Staff was really good. My only caution is that some rooms may b
Discrimination, loud all night long- neither my daughter nor I slept any”
I am a US Army Veteran, injured serving my country. My highly trained Service Dog comes with me everywhere making it possible to travel. Not only does she assist me physically, but when the pain is overwhelming, she is my rock. I booked the hotel in advance and stated clearly, "I will be traveling with my daughter and my Trained Service Dog. She is a Rottweiler and approximately 90 pounds." Received confirmation from hotel. When I arrived, I was informed she was no welcome; When I insisted, he called the manager who relented, but charged extra money and told me my dog, who has literally saved my life on several occasions, had to sleep on the floor, could not touch the furniture and was restricted from any other hotel parts. Then same man followed my daughter and I into our room and SLAPPED my dog several times in the face trying to provoke a reaction!! (All she did was lick his hand) Charged 15 euro for 4 min. shuttle to airport- my dog was forced to ride in back with luggage.
loud noise in our room”
there was very loud noise in our room since it was too close to public area
the staff in not friendly
the room for 3 is 2 floor with a lot of staris
Its a great place for a stopover for the early flights out of Venice Marco Polo. We reached late so not sure how the place looks in the morning. But the stay was quite good for the short time we were there
nice room and good service
I used this hotel only when flying out from Venice Airport the next morning.
