One of my best Holiday. We've been in a tente but it was confortable. Bad was really confortable. The beach is empty, really good place for relaxing. The Guest House plece itself is good, peaople are nice, Dil, one of the owner is really friendly as weel. The food is excellent as well. I can not say aníthing bad. We left to go to Negombo, but after 2 days we went back, so I think no need to add any other comments. I will return! And I need to say also that it is a good place for kitesurfing for any level.
Thank you for all the team!

Excellent place for kitesurfers”
Friendly People, Good Food, Lots Of Fun
Guys did a great job making this place nearly perfect for those who like kitesurfing.
Most people either start learning or ride already and share the same interests. KSL is truly international place. The camp is well maintained, very neat and clean. Me and my girlfriend stayed in bungalow with two chairs on the front porch and lagoon view. It was very nice to have a drink sitting there in the evening. I would not recommend taking bungalow for those who could be afraid of small animals and insects. You could easily find a little gecko, lizard, rat, roach or different bugs in the room. The bed is isolated by the transparent tent so no issues for sleeping. There are lots of nature sounds in the night though. So be prepared.
If you brought the food with you I would recommend hiding it in the tough place as we found a hole bitten through in the luggage bag by the rat trying to get to the box of candies inside. It actually succeed :)
On the negative side we found that the sheet left blue stains on the skin and underwear as if it was colored with low quality pigment. Sri-Lankan people from staff sometimes struggle to understand English. But very positive and smiley. If you make a booking through Agoda the lunch and dinner are not included and have to be paid separately which I believe makes no sense since everyone take meal there.
Overall, awesome place. Highly recommended!
Absolutely fantastic. Do not miss it.”
Friendly staff, long sandy beach, genuine nature with very few tourists
We spent one month in Sri Lanka, the final week in Kitesurfing Lanka GH. We had looked for a peaceful place, free from tourists and noise to relax after the round trip on the island. We could not have desired a better place. We enjoyed the food, the environment, the guys (staff) who helped us to make the most of the place. We had a tent for two, excellent choice, big and comfortable enough to sleep well. The site is very clean, well maintained. We do not kitesurf but the staff offered us different activities to enjoy ourselves. Lots of dolphins, picturesque fishing boats and villages, friendly local people. We decided to return to Kitesurfing Lanka Guest House.
One of the best places in Sri Lanka”
Friendly staff, nice food, cleaness
This place was one of the best we stayed in Sri Lanka. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we would say the best we experienced in Sri Lanka. Initially we booked a tent but as we got a room for the same price because all the tents were full. Food was very nice and everything very clean. We fully recommend this place and hope to see the guys from there again. Zdenka and Petr
Great Kite resort.”
Price, Location, atmosphere
Best price in the lagoon. They have everything you need which is good because it's far away from everything else. Their excursions are a little spendy, and it's cheaper to buy off the menu than pay for the full board, but I still think it's one of the best spots around.
Exceptional place to kitesurf and clean your mind ”
Perfect kitesurfing spot; great relaxation; wonderful people from the entire world, some of them becoming your friends
We stayed at the camp for 4 nights and were accommodated in the tent as all cabanas were booked. We have a high demands, and admitted to try staying at the camp only after reading reviews in the Internet, and till the last moment on the road to the camp I was not sure that my girlfriend agreed to stay there. And I have to say that the place exceeded our expectations. During our Sri Lanka trip we stayed overall at 10 hotels including luxury eco-hotels and our experience from the camp definitely one of the top.
The tent was clean, comfortable, had a nice bedding, fan and electricity. Although my girlfriend is insectophobic, she felt herself comfortable as no insect could get inside. The area is very quiet and we had a great sleep with a plenty of fresh air.
I had a previous kiting experience but had problems with waterstart. After 5 days at the spot my skills changed dramatically. It is ideal for beginners due to large safe space with flat water and stable wind.
We had a full board for a modest price with a plenty of both Sri Lankan and European fresh tasty food. We stayed 5 days and never ate the same thing twice. There is also an option to order local sea food from the menu, and we had great crabs at local price that is much more affordable that in Colombo or other tourists’ places.
NON KITING ACTIVITIES.
My girlfriend is not a kiter, but she spent a wonderful relaxing time with yoga and on the beach. The place is exceptional as it area encourages conversations and interactions with other people from around the world. I also had a dolphin watching boat trip that was really amazing. They also offered SUP, kayaking and cinema at lounge in the evening.
The place is rustic, but at the same is very comfortable thank to the camp personnel. There you can clean your mind from everyday issues and concerns, relax and refill with the energy.
It is definitely the place where I wished to stay longer and would be glad to return.
Excellent place for a relaxed holiday”
Ten minutes to the lagoon for good kiting; hospitable and professional staff; great, great food very reasonably priced.
Great team of kite instructors, guesthouse team very hospitable and relaxed, and if you're travelling alone, this is a great place where you won't be on your own, you'll find locals, as well as people from all over the world travelling alone, with families or as couples. The fairly basic, well designed and well maintained setup of the place serves its purpose: kite, eat, sleep;). Besides that you can go snorkling and dolphin watching. Common area breathes a sense of coziness for which Dutch people use a unique word: "gezellig". Menu based on the locally available products, very verty tasty food, and If you care about iperations run with respect for the environment and its people: these guys are doing great. Have been living in Colombo for two years now and I prefer to stay here much over any other guesthouse or hotel in the same price category I have been before in the country.
