The owner of the hotel is super awesome. Due to the problem in the room we booked, the owner arranged us to stay in his house, which was like super upgraded for us. We got to stay in the house with the entire floor belong to us, with 2 huge rooms and kitchen freely to use. The owner also arranged us to have super delicious breakfast cooked and prepared by his lovely wife. It was an incredible Jordanian hospitality to us.
The staff (a family) is very nice although only the father speaks english. The hotel is very well located in Madaba (you might have to park your car a little bit further though), and the bathroom was very clean. However, the floor and the blanket were quite dirty, and the furniture is super old. We had a room with balcony, perfect to feel the pulse of the city but you may have to use earplugs to be able to sleep. I would recommend it for backpackers on a budget.
Lovely stay with an amazing family
Good breakfast. Just make sure you've got informed about hours of running water.
Cheapest place in town”
Cheapest place in town. However the facilities are old and dirty. It's not clean.
Very nice staff and most economical property in Madaba. Dorm beds were clean and comfortable with only 3 people per room. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. Thank you!
Great location but so dirty”
Located within easy walking distance of many of Madaba's sights, including the Church with the mosaic floor. The room was not clean and the floor didn't look like it had been swept in a very long time. The shared bathroom was even worse. It was only given a daily brief clean if that. Breakfast was basic but generous. Aside from all the negatives it was still a pleasant stay and we would probably stay there again as the staff were welcoming and the place was cosy.
You get what you pay”
It is more a hostel than a hotel. Good location (between Airport and Dead sea). Breakfast was good (eggs, butter, spreadable cheese and jam).
Best Hotel in Madaba”
The guys running the place will make your stay very comfortable and they will also help you with any other things as well. Food is great, room and beds are warm. Hot water and shower great also. Great location, i skipped Amman and went straight here from the airport, very close.
Interesting happy hour”
Great Location.. Thats It.”
Great location. Room was clean though tad depressing in terms of decor. Experience was a tad lifeless though. None of the great and warm hospitality we have gotten used to in Jordan. Nonetheless good value for just a night's stay.
Positives: Light on pocket, helpful staff, central location. Negatives: Room not very clean
Conveniently located, attentive staff.”
The staff is helpfull, the rooms are acceptable, the hotel is old. No much business, maybe becouse it was low season. Very close to the Church of the Mosaic Map (the main attraction in Madaba); close to the other turistic places but we did not have time to visit. The city is half an hour from Mt. Nebo where Moses is buried. About one hour from the dead sea and from the border crossing to Israel.
Everything was nice (location, staff, food). It is a good choice in Madaba.
A standard place to stay with great hotel staff. ”
I had a quick one night stop in this city. The room is standard with free wifi. The hotel staff are helpful and the owner is generous by providing a welcoming drink. Thank you!
basic but adequate”
apart from a slight mix up with the booking (we booked 2 rooms for one night and the hotel had the booking for 1 room for 2 nights) our stay was adequate, don't expect much, the place is in need of a makeover and you get what you pay for but the staff were very friendly and the location is very central ... great place for a quick 1 night stay
OK for the most part. I stayed in this hotel on three nights. 2 separate nights reserved and a third night since I was unable to go to Jerusalem as planned. There were no issues on the first besides the low water pressure. On the second night when I had reserved a private bathroom, ig had been given away and there was only a shared bathroom available. I stayed there but hated the idea of sharing a bathroom. The third night I got a private bathroom with no major issues. General: bathrooms are too small and shower curtains do not extend all the way down so there's a pool of water outside the shower when you step out. Call to prayer will definitely wake you up in the morning.
Great location but just ok room”
i paid 20 jd for a single room/night. the room is ok, not too small, not too big, without bathroom. clean but a bit cold at night ( december ) . the staffs were very helpfull and friendly. breakfast was boring. same and same every morning. the location is just perfect, near to all sight-seeings. the taxi driver from the hotel was a very nice man. if you need someone to share a taxi with you to dead sea or petra, just ask him. he can help you.
Okay hotel with great staff”
Overall, this hotel was decent. We stayed here for about six hours to freshen up before we drove to Queen Alia airport to leave for home. We attempted our naps but with no avail. This hotel is not sound proof. You can hear noises from the street and prayers from the mosque near by.
Friendly service and great location”
I actually extended my stay here as it was agreat stopover. The weather could have been better but when you travel in Winter what do you expect? But the staff were friendly and the food was very good. I liked the fact that it was within easy walking distance to everything I needed to see or do and nothing was a problem for the owners or their staff. I would certainly stay there again plus it's also only a short taxi ride down to the border crossing which in itself was worth every moment.
