We were welcomed at Riad Les Ammonites by Francesca who informed us about the facilities within the Riad and gave us useful advice on the local people which definitely prepared us for our visit and made us feel safer. Our room was complimentary upgraded, we had the red suite. A tasty traditional breakfast was served each morning at a time of our choice which worked well for us as some times we’d like a lie in and sometimes we’d have to be up early. The Riad it’s self was very beautifully decorated and cosy, it really felt like staying in someone’s home with good hospitality. The main market/souk Jemaa Al Fna was a 10 minute walk from the Riad, the Riad is down a quiet cobbled side street. There is free WiFi but access is limited depending where you are in the Riad. You must remember this is a Riad not a hotel so for the price we paid we were happy with what was offered.
