We stayed here with our 2 yo son celebrating his bday lunch at satoo then had a 1 night staycation. Our stay was superb! We really enjoy everything. Had a great lunch at satoo and service was cool. Upgraded our room to horizon. Great swimming pool. Tried the japanese resto for dinner. Breakfast has a lot of variety too. We really enjoy our stay there.

Gold but Old”
Excellent service as usual but the facilities are a bit run down and the price was very expensive. Stayed at another 5 stars hotel the day before with similar service (at Mega Kuningan) and the price is 20-30% cheaper.
The Shangrila pool is a winner and compensates for any complaints we may have. The rooms are also fantastically luxurious. It's just a bit of a walk to the mall up the road, but I guess Jakarta mall-crawlers don't walk!

Lovely stay ”
We had a really great time. The breakfast was awesome! The japanese restaurant is delicious - A MUST TRY! The Jia restaurant was good but it took too long to get our food out. We did enjoy the horizon club - but if we can make a suggestions. Please consider to put a little children play area anywhere near the club coz not all parents have nannies. As the there is a specific hours that children cannot join in. But there’s a free flow alcohol beverages. there are several accidents 1. My son fell got thrown out of the slide at the children waterplay area (at the right hand corner) because the water flow was too fast and hit his waist to the rough ground- nothing serious but enough to make him stop sliding. 2. my son’s friend. He fell and cut his chin at the children water play area. The staff called out an emergency doctor to get his chin stitched (it was paid by the parents of the boy). Earlier that day I saw a man was arguing with your staff when he cannot go up and accompany his child to go up and down the slide. May be Consider changing the rough ground. And slowing down the waterflow. Or may be the whole thing so it can be use for adults as well (the area is very slippery some young children might not have the balance to play by themselves - and needed adult supervision to get up and down the slide).

Spent a night here with the kids. Nice hotel, lovely room and clean. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. Great Executive lounge access with plenty of finger foods and drinks. Kids love the splash pool, park to run around, fish pond, horse riding (the only negative feedback is the horse so skinny.. )

Friendly staff, excellent swimming pool, great hotel...”
I stayed with my family, my wife and 3 children....I booked a Horizon club room, and when I checked in, I was offered an upgrade to a suite with extra $$....The suite room was great, the staff, breakfast and swimming pool also excellent......especially if you have little children, there are many activities in the morning.......the evening cocktails in the Horizon Club also great....the only disappointment was when I booked a Horizon Club room there was a benefit of late check out until 4 pm, but when I asked for a late check out they only give us until 1 pm...I don't know if it is because I upgrade the Horizon Club room to a Suite room or the staff did not understand or pretend to not understand the benefit of the Horizon Club...also another let down when they agree for the late check out until 1 pm, the wi-fi was disconnected at 12 pm....

We stayed for a long weekend easter vacation and we loved every single bit of the hotel. it is very clean, fast service, helpful and friendly staff and the location is nearby shopping malls. We will definitely return again here!

Short escape for the weekend”
Complimentary New Year Eve's events at Lobby Lounge was excellent for all hotel guests. We enjoy the entertainment until the final count down. Overall, we satisfied the services during our stay. Breakfast was good although we experienced a long queue at Satoo. Rooms were clean, free wifi speed was fair, access to horizon club lounge, free parking, and kids enjoyed the swimming pool.

It's a very good hotel, an oasis in a very demanding city. But, hey, it's still in Jakarta - great place in many ways, but USD170 a night and that at a heavy discount? Really? If you have the money to spend, great, if not there is better value to be found in Jakarta.

Excellent for business travel”
Staff a well trained, polite and professional. This is a compliment not only to the staff, but more so to the management of this hotel. Food at the restaurants and room service is good. I found the quality of the buffet at Sato Rest on 19th Oct to be less in variety and prepared much in advance....so did not look fresh or appetizing. Perhaps you need to look into the presentation aspect. A/C in the lobby cafe was too cold on 18th and 19th Oct, and I request the waitress both days that air condition means the temperature must be comfortable and not too cold. Otherwise I had a very pleasant stay and will certainly return.

More staff at pool area needed”
We went to stay on a public holiday. The pool area was crowded and less staff in duty. Many kids fell due to slippery floors. Both of my kids fell as well. Should add more mat connecting the water play area to pool and the life guards just watched as the kids fell before my kids fell. This is very dangerous. This was the only thing that was disappointing, the rest of our stay was good. When my kid fell the staff finally took notice and had him check at the clincic.

Excellent service by the staff especially at the reception and lobby with warm smile greeting and fast service . Great room - Horizon Club at the high floor and unexpected to receive a lovely chocolate birthday cake & birthday note at my room upon checkin in on 14th July 2017! It is our 2nd time stay here and we will be back here again in near future . Keep it up Shangri-La!
