5mins to the airport, spacious room”
5mins to the airport with the hotel free shuttle bus. Stayed 1 night before an early flight departure. Friendly staff with smile when i check-in and check-out. Spacious room and bathroom, room at 1/f and still quiet. Supermarket (next to Ibis) is within 5mins walking distance and you will also find some local restaurants, McDonald's for food. The design and furniture may look like there are some histories or ages ago but its fine for a good rest.
THE place to stay for early flights”
With a 24 hour shuttle service, this place can't be beat if you've got an early flight. Helps to avoid hailing a taxi at 3:30 in the morning. Not sure about the area other than for just being near the airport but it seems everywhere in Madrid has excellent dining. Lovely room that was super clean.
Good for transfering hotel in MAD”
Good location~! Also, there is shuttle bus for 24 hous To the airport was every around twenty minutes. To the hotel at Terminal 2 was every around forty minutes. However, you'd better check it with hotel for the correct time.
clean room ”
The hotel staff were all very polite and helpful. They taught us how to go the supermarket by bus. We found the way is easy. Moreover, the hotel is very clean. The only problem was when requesting a cable for my laptop at night time they asked me to go reception pickup, needing more staff. Other than this the hotel was everything you would expect.

Pick up from airport and drop off 24 hrs a day saves you E 40 so hotel is very cheap , handy clean and tidy recommend for short stay.
The hotel is near the airport and is very accessible through the free shuttle service offered by the hotel. This is a plus factor to take note of the hotel and the driver (I think his name was Dario or one that sounded like it) was so courteous. Rooms were clean and big. Breakfast offered a wide selection of bread, pastries, coldcuts, eggs,porridge or hot soup, fruit and drinks. The reception staff was so helpful. in giving information of how to get to the center of Madrid.
I needed a good hotel close to the Madrid airport so I could easily catch an early flight. This place was perfect. The shuttle service was excellent. Facilities clean and professionally run. Room was quiet, clean, comfortable. Staff were very helpful. The bed was excellent. Breakfast (10 euros) was very good and convenient. All together, and excellent stopover. One added bonus for me was that I checked in at about 3:00. Just outside and to the left, there is a local soccer club facility. Very low key, very local. You go in (it's free and the people are very nice), grab yourself a beer or soda, go into the stands and watch some very animated local soccer. Honestly, I have to say it was really fun. Again, this hotel is perfect for a stopover where close easy access to the airport is needed.

Large bedroom & extra large bathroom. Like a very comfortable American hotel. Great breakfast and free shuttle every 15 minutes to airport. Oddly, the cab from the train station/airport to the hotel took 25 minutes and $20 USD, while the hotel shuttle took 5 minutes from the hotel to the terminal. Can't understand the cab ride. But the hotel was great for our purposes. 9.5.

The hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable, but for the price and it being a 4 star hotel I was have expected a little higher standard. We could not make tea or coffee in the room and no free water, which one would expect.
Don't let the exterior fool you - it's nice inside”
We stayed here the day we arrived in Spain, and the night before we left. We had early flights on both days following. Pros: Despite the rough exterior, the interior is renovated and the rooms spacious and very comfortable... especially the beds. The airport shuttle runs 24 hours but you have to arrange for pickup either from the front desk or calling them from the airport. Cons: The hotel and airport location are great, but not if you are planning on sightseeing for the day. There is a metro station close by but Barajas is quite far from the city centre. Great airport hotel especially for the price ($67cdn)
Bad customer service/Mala atencion al cliente”
The guy at front desk his name was LIBERIO was EXTREMELY rude and no empathetic at all. According to him he did not receive a confirmation from Agoda so he could not give me a room. He tried to make go through a very stupid process, asking for a lot of stuff for almost an hour. I was very tired and I had 5 hours to sleep before waking up and going to the airport. Finally, I decided to call Agoda's customer service number and the customer service girl gave him the information he needed in 5 minutes. I was wondering... why he did NOT call Agoda's customer service before asking me for emails, information, credit card number, stupid forms, triple check with other employees and make 2 phone calls to other "Melia employees". He also treated me like was trying to sneak in. Very Disappointing! El empleado no me trato de esta manera por ser extranjero o no hablar su idioma ya que soy espanol. Simplemente era una persona maleducada y no preparada para trabajar de cara al público
The place was fine except the heat was on in our room. Even after opening the window the room was stifling. When I spoke to the front desk that morning the host told me that the heat was turned on because this was the normal time to do so. It was over 80 degrees that day. He said there had been other complaints and I should advise people. Perhaps then the managers would take the actual weather into consideration before turning up the temp.
