Zhongshan District hotels & accommodations

We stayed in the regular room on the Tai Pan floor and had a dedicated check in/out counter that also offered sightseeing advice and recommendations. This counter was always ready to answer any of our questions with friendly staff, even when we approached it at odd hours of the night. The private lounge was stocked with all kinds of drink with happy hours from 5.30pm t...

This Hotel is the best that I've stayed in Taipei. It is very well-priced and it opened in about 09/12. The staff are very polite and everything is well thought of. It is also a stone's throw away from an MRT station which makes transport an easy subject. A must stay if you are looking into the ZhongShan district !

A quick note on the five-star rating: it cannot be a legit 5-star due to specific requirements such as a golf course on the premises. Not a golfer myself, I didn't really care about that. Just semantics. The hotel was very nice and certainly upper-echelon. The only local food places we found were very "local," so if one isn't about adventuring Taiwanese foods, then you...

My family stayed seven nights at Cityinn and enjoyed our stay. Our family room was a little small but they make good use of the space. The room itself was very quiet and we did not hear our neighbors at any point during our stay. The toiletries provided in the room were excellent and were routinely replenished each day. The cleaning staff work hard and it shows. Front...

3 minutes walk to mrt station(zhongshan elementary school), which is easy to access to anywhere in taipei city. 24 hours convenience store and mcdonald are just 30 seconds away. lots lots of local restaurants around, oh, also lots of massage places! we checked in after midnight and the staff was very welcoming.

I visit Taiwan at least twice a year and had been stayed in hotel of different grade, This hotel can be said as one of the best one in this few years. A very spaceous room with twin beds and a nice armchair. The bathroom is very nice too with both shower area and bathtub. The room got nice soundproof so I slept soundly during my stay. I really appreciate the bathroom w...

Great place to spend our last 2 nights in a month long Taiwanese adventure. Excellent location in the Zhongshan District. Staff was super accommodating to our fairly long list or requests (we aren't usually high maintenance, I swear). The restaurant was fine but not exceptional. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was heaven and the bidet toilet was also divine...

Good location near to Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Mall and walking distance to Zhongshan MRT Station. There's also a bakery, restaurants, massage place and also convenience store just outside the hotel. Staff are well-trained and speaks excellent Chinese and English. I made a mistake and selected 1 adult only when booking room when we actually had 2 person and the hotel nicel...

The rooms were large and comfortable. The bathroom was big as well. The hotel is a short 3min walk to Zhongshan MRT on the red line (1 stop away from Taipei main station). The location of the hotel is definitely good, and the surroundings are not messy while it is bustling with shops. There were many Japanese staying at the hotel when I was there (probably because thi...

My mother & I are amazed by the fashionable room design of this hotel. The location is very convenient as resided in the zhongshan district where you can find many restaurants and ye shi nearby. The hotel & rooms are relatively new. All facilities in the room are new and clean.

Everything positive you've read about Linsen Fun is true. Due to a prolonged trip, my stay here turned from 3 weeks to nearly two months! But I can say my stay here has been overwhelmingly enjoyable and positive. First, the room I booked was a Business Twin that overlooks a school courtyard. My experience with the sound insulation was very good. Even with neighbor...

There was a secretive atmosphere about the place - from driving into the garage, parking in your own personal space, having your own personal lift up. The best part was opening the door to the humongous (Maple suite) room - WOW!Did not expect the room to be so huge (better than the pic. The bathroom area was as big as the bedroom. Expect soft lightings and romantic mu...

Yomi Hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Zhongshan District in Taipei. The nearest MRT is the Shuanglian Station (Red Line) which about 350m (5 min walk) away from the hotel. There is a nearby 7-11, a Family Mart, and a Watsons store. There are also a number of restaurants and milk tea shops around the area. Not to mention the hospital and police station near...

Excellent location and quaint hotel right in the middle of Zhongshan district. The MRT entrance was right next to the hotel, allowing for easy access to other places. Shopping centres were directly opposite the hotel, making shopping an easy and pleasant experience. Lastly, the room is great, with a jacuzzi and telly in the bathroom to soothe away the aches from walk...

Among 5-star hotels, Ambassador is affordable yet it's a bit for from Zhongshan district. Most of the staffs are very kind, but it's quite hard to communicate in English. About room condition, when people talked each other, I could hear the voices from other rooms, which was a bit annoying at night. I called the reception about this, but something made me feel that I w...

i chose this boutique hotel because i read that the hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the main streets while it's only stone's throw from the nearest mrt. even though the mrt is not on a main line, it's still convient to get to the hot springs in beitou and shopping districts near the taipei railway station. i knew the double room is relatively small, so ...

We got the cheapest room so it’s VERY small. It has a small window but the room is still stuffy and enclosed. It works if you don’t spend most of your time in the room and just need it to sleep at night. Our room was clean. The shower was rubbish though. The nearest station is Zhongshan (red line), about 10min walk. It’s convenient to travel to Taipei Main station, ...

Checking in to this hotel feels like paradise especially coming from another hell hotel. The staffs here are friendly and well trained. Always finding ways to help you out especially I needed to extend 2 more nights of stay and their hotel is fully booked and I cannot book anymore in Agoda. The hotel staff was so helpful in finding a way for me at the same old price. T...

I reached Taipei pretty early and reached the hotel ahead of time. Hotel didnt allow early check-in as I guessed they were fully booked. They offered to store our luggage at the concierge which was the standard for all hotels. The medium room was spacious and comfortable. The room and toilet were clean. Hotel provided free slippers which were availble to take home. ...

The hotel is located in Zhongshan just near Shuanglian station. It is just walking distance to Ningxia Night Market, passing through other shops along the way. There are 2 groceries nearby Carrefour near Ningxia and Wellcome at the back. Also walking distance to Nanjing W Road, with the high end shops are. The staff are very courteous and helpful for your needs a...

There are 2 Mai Hotel in Zhongshan. This is the new hotel that is less than few months old. That why we took a risk to try this hotel as me & my wife love to try out boutique hotel. We are intially shocked when they show us the basic room think we book (think is deluxe). It is so tiny that u dun even have space to put ur luggage. However, the front desk is kind eno...

Very accessible by public transport.. near to the train station..and only a few stations away from zhongshan airport. The interior design of the hotel provided an amazing experience for us.. We had a WOW experience From the lobby to the lift to the room common area to the room itself..even to the cafe where breakfast was served..designs were very exquisite! Service at ...

The hotel is a bit difficult to find, located on the second and third level of a commercial building. Hotel location is not the best, about 10 min walk from MTR and located away from the more happening part of Zhongshan district. It seems to stuck within a residential estate. Room is of decent size, but travel mate have a much smaller room that do not even have spac...

The hotel is very well located close to Metro station, the rooms are nice size and the facilities are modern and well taken care off. Staff very friendly and helpful when providing maps and ideas to visit around. We did not have breakfast included but you can find the best spot in the city a few meters away! The super uncle laymen brunches are superb! Definitely a must...

I have been to Taipei almost 10 times and this hotel is one of my favourites. In a city where there are so many hotel options, this one stands out for being one of the most clean, modern and spacious that I've stayed in so far. While not in the most commercial of districts, there are sufficient food and shopping options just a short walk from the hotel. Getting a ta...

Location is about 10mins walk from the nearest subway - Zhongshan station, other than that everything else about this hotel is almost perfect. Friendly staffs, rooms were very clean and tidy and big. Had a great experience, and would definitely come back here again!

The hotel offers excellent customer services. Counter staff will stand and greet every outgoing/incoming guests. Sometimes they will also small chat with you and ask if you need help in your itinerary. As there are only 30rooms, the staff seems to remember the guests and treats guests like friends, which I feel is an enhanced form of security and I really appreciate th...
Cheap places to stay in Zhongshan District

The staff is SUPER friendly, helpful, and make you feel at home. The rooms are very clean and the whole place has awesome art painted on the walls. You need a key card to get into women bathroom but not mens which made me feel like they were on top of it as far as caring about safety of customers. There are even help buttons you can push! There best breakfast/brunch s...

I initially thought it was going to be uncomfortable here since I imagined the capsule hotel I saw from the Hollywood movie "The Fifth Element." My friend highly recommended this place though so I decided to go for it. The capsule room was spacious enough and had a futuristic feel. I had a comfortable sleep so no regrets staying here for the night. I would also recomme...

The hotel is nice and clean. Our room, mixed dormitory room for 6, is good. It is big enough for us to move around. The double decker beds are kind of shaky but it is still comfortable to sleep with. The private bathroom is also nice and clean. The shared bathroom and toilet is also good. I like the shared bathroom because it has free shampoo and bath wash. The staff...

Clean and constantly maintained, very professional staff, and sleeping in dorm gave a lot of privacy. The location is quite close to the metro(be careful Zhongshan ELEMENTARy school -orange line) not the Junior high school. Great common facilities on rooftop with kitchen, sitting area, and rooftop deck. Wifi was excellent and the mirrors in the bunks was a great idea t...

Licated on busy Linsen, also in the heart of the red light district, many are fearful of small places worried they are dirty or dangerous, focused on servicing the red light district. But not this place. This is a quaint, but quality establishment. Immaculately clean room, firm, quality comfortable bed, quiet room, and very good value. ...and the staff pushes...

The location is good. The hotel is located in a tranquil and clean alley. The staff is very friendly and supportive. It takes about 20 minutes of walking to get Exit 3 of Zhongshan MRT Station. We spent 3 nights here and its main lobby was always full of lylis. The room was clean and new. I will recommend this hotel to my friends who travel to Taipei.

Room is clean, location is convenient as bus stop is only 1 minutes away and 5minutes away from underground subway. Many eateries around and convenient store is just right below the hotel. Room is relatively small but we were there for 3 nights only, so we just need a place to sleep. Love the toilet as it was clean and came with ventilation fan installed, which is rel...

We arrived in Taipei at 3am, and we were still able to check in. You will only have to use the telephone outside to get inside, and use another telephone inside to get your card in the drawer. The owner/manager just needs to verify some information. It seems complicated (having to use the telephone and all) but it's very easy. Make sure to have the address on your phon...

The service staff is thoughtful and friendly. Kudos to them! Room is very spacious by Taipei standards. Clean and very quiet as well. Bed is very comfortable. Location is very local, steps to convenient store and a market that operates day and night. Nearby bus stop has direct buses to yangmingshan and other attractions. Breakfast is decent and do buy your coffee from...

I booked the Boutique Quadruple Room and it is perfect. You get a seriously big room! It has a bar (enough said). It is near many shops and it is just a 6 minute walk to the MRT (zhongshan) and 10 minutes to Q Square Mall. Will definitely book this hotel again for the price I got.

Located right by Zhongshan Station exit 3, it was a great location. Lots of eating places of many varieties. Was able to walk from Airport Line MRT through the under street tunnels to Zhongshan Station in less than 20 minutes. Just follow the signs for Zhongshan Mall. We were in room 4, which did have a window, but it was about 12 inches away from another building ...

This small hotel is located in between Minsheng E. Rd. and NanJing E. Rd., two busy streets of Taipei. Thus, it’s quiet but convenient traffic-wise. A taxi ride to or from the local airport (TSA) is less than 5 minutes. Flying in from Shanghai, Tokyo or Seoul? This hotel will be a good choice! MRT Brown and Green lines are within walking distance and will take you t...

Hotel building seems old from the lift, but rooms have been refurnished recently as everything looks fairly new and clean. Hotel is probably popular amongst Japanese, at least every other guest I saw was Japanese and the hotel toilet provides bidet. Staff were polite and helpful. Buffet breakfast was a decent spread. Location is less than 5 mins walk from Green subway ...

My first impression was the room (503) seems small. But after a few minutes, I discovered that the room is very well designed for a comfortable stay and as a result I stayed on for 7 nights without any urge to move out. Most importantly, the room and beddings were very clean and spotless.... the bathroom too. I had very comfortable sleep for 7 nights, an experience not...

The hotel is located in the small alley with its own parking lot (able to accommodate around 5 cars). The closest MRT is Zhongshan elementary school (orange line), around 6-8 minutes walk. It may not convenient since the orange line is not the main one for commuting to the landmark/tourist spot though. We booked a tripled room--all single beds. The room is spacious. It...

We were there for 2 nights and definitely enjoyed our stay. Although the rooms have *no views, the room was very cozy and comfortable. We alighted and walked (10-15mins) to the hotel from mingquan stn (3 stops from Taipei stn). There's also abundant convenient stores (Family mart, 7-eleven) and cafes around the hotel. Breakfast served by the hotel was pretty good! Prio...

Small boutique hotel, room are clean and spacious. The thing that I like when I walk in the room is that there is no smell of humidity or mold. The hotel is located a bit far from the metro but has few bus stops around which is fine. They are few Japanese and local restaurants around the hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for the second time. quite an easy access to MRT Sonjian nanjin stn. but also possible to Zhongshan stn. by foot(we even walked to the hotel from Taipei main station). since taxi is not expensive in the city, a hotel location may not an issue but still nice to stay in the heart of the city for some strolling. recommended.

Located on the main road (zhongshan n. Rd), there are plenty of restaurants and retail shops around the hotel. Hotel is relatively new and part of ambassador group. i was delighted with the service by the reception staff, they were very helpful, friendly and professional. they were able to help us with directions, calling for taxis as well as helping with our reservations for dinner. i forgot to take down the telephone number for a restaurant i want to go to and the concierge/ reception staff even went online to help me search and...

It was a decent hotel with the basic amenities. However, I find the lighting in the room overall to be too dark and that includes the bathroom. For me personally, I prefer a brighter bathroom. The bathroom tiles are black so that makes the whole area even darker. The location is great though. It is located in Zhongshan district which has a lot of restaurants aroun...

This is a fairly new hotel, opened next to its sister hotel across the alley. It is a small hotel, but makes full use of its space. Our room had great view of the street below. Quality furnishings from automatic curtains, Pioneer blu-ray DVD with 5.1 surround system, large LCD screen and full sized bathtub with jacuzzi function. Our room even came with a house CD with ...

Lovely staffs. Though it is 3-stars hotel but the service provided is as good as 5-stars. Helpful and friendly staffs including housekeeping. Like the most is unlimited free flow of hot beverages and water at 2nd floor lounge. Free of charge using their washing and dryer machines.

The Riviera is a nice hotel in the Zhongshan area of Taipei. While not as extravagant as some the bigger, more expensive "5-star" hotels, it offers a fine location for business and/or touring the city. Our room was clean and quiet, and the price included free internet, free parking and the breakfast buffet. The hotel provides free one-way rides to several Taipei sigh...

We stayed at Capital Hotel for 2 nights. We wished we could stay longer. Unfortunately, there was no room available for New year eve. Anyway, we stayed at floor 10th. It calls Lady floor. I don't know about the style of other rooms at other floor. But I love my room. It is European Princess style. At least I felt like that. :) The room is big and clean. The bathroom is...

came to taiwan for wedding photoshoot, the hotel is very near to the wedding shop. we loved the king bed, lobby was small but unique. just beside local nightmarket with fantastic ma la soup - we ate it every night. location is good, fairly near the metro. will stay here again if in the area.

I must say Taiwanese does tasteful luxury hotels and boutique hotels very well. Was impressed by the service efficiency. I arrived at the hotel by a cab and one of the front desk staff member came out immediately to open my cab door with a welcoming smile and help me the with luggage. In fact, each time when I return to the hotel during my stay, they never fail to help...

This is a real find Im almost reluctant to write a review in case they increase the price. First came check in no credit card deposit needed it took seconds with zero fuss staff where just lovely. Room a very large bed a little hard but still okay could of done with a few more pillows but that's all the negatives I can think of free min bar massive bathroom with jacuzz...

The free snacks and beers provided everyday in our kitchen were a nice touch. The breakfast service was nice and efficient. Dining area is a little small, but cozy, so get there early if it is a busy season. Rooms don't have much of a view but well laid out and nice little touches like a tv that swivels in the wall so that it can be watched in the living room or bedroo...

The hotel was well placed within easy walking district of 2 MRT stations, also walkable to the local area. The hotel room was spacious with a comfy bed, large desk, 2 easy chairs, the bathroom was interesting. The bath being within the shower cubicle was unusual but was not an issue. The toilet was very “flashy” having a heated seat and built in bidet and bottom washin...

We went to Taipei in mid august 2012, and to stay at the San Want Residences as all other hotels were fully booked. Upon arriving at 10 am, the room wasn't ready, so we had to wait till 2pm, but that actually meant we got a free room upgrade for park view. The hotel's location was one of the reasons it wasn't on the top of our priority list, as a lot of reviews said ma...

Regrettably, I have to say it was not up to my expectation. I feel they should not have opened this hotel for business yet, at least not under the name of Marriott. On my arrival I was told that my booking through Agoda is based on weekday ra...

We wanted to end our trip at a nice hotel, so I’ve decided to book at Grand Mayfull. Location is in a quiet area, walking distance to the Miramar Mall. Besides that, there’s not much to do in the area. So we took a taxi everywhere we wanted to go! It’s a beautiful hotel, and the rooms are big, so spacious, clean, and with a touch of a button to unwind in the evening. ...

the stay was good. the staff was very kind and friendly. we know we had a last minute booking and it was the eve of new year's eve where many checked in at the same time. room was good size and getting around was easy. the best is there is always a taxi in front of the hotel and hotel staff helped you with the places you want to go and communicate to the drivers. ...

It was a pleasant and very memorable stay, and get to have a nice view of Taipei city. The view in the evening is fantastic and we checked,in and out within a minute. Very fast and efficient staff at the reception and I don't event need to show them my hotel voucher, just let them know the name and show them passport, and they immediately passed me the keys to my room...
