Continue on foot for about 10 minutes uphill (or catch a taxi ride) toward the Ruins of St. Paul’s, one of Macau’s most iconic landmarks. When you arrive, the towering stone facade of the 17th-century church ruins makes a stunning backdrop for photos. Allow at least 45 minutes to take in the site and learn a bit about its history.

After drying off, take a 10-minute taxi ride–or, if you’re up for a 30-minute walk–over to Taipa Village. While here, make sure to explore Rua do Cunha, a short pedestrian street within the village that’s famous for its local eats. Between exploring and snacking, you’ll want to budget 1.5 to 2 hours here.
