  • CSI St. Mary’s Church – the oldest Anglican church in India contains tombs of colonial officials and important British figures. The church was completed in 1680.
  • The Fort Museum – the building itself is historical, having been built in 1795, and today it also houses coins, weapons, uniforms and thousands of artifacts that tell the diverse and unique history of ancient Madras and modern-day Chennai.
