The two main areas to find popular pubs and clubs in Brisbane are Brisbane City (“The City”) and Fortitude Valley (“The Valley”). The City’s venues offer more traditional tastes in music and atmosphere, while The Valley’s venues are dramatically different. Nearly all clubs and pubs are open until the early morning, seven days a week. Be sure to carry ID and leave the thongs (flip flops) at home, as better attire will make for easier entry into most venues.
