Guests can stroll through several sections in Flower Land, including the Rose Garden, Four Season Garden and Maze Garden.

EXPO Science Park

The site of the 1993 Daejeon World Expo is now a major tourist attraction in Daejeon and the host of EXPO Science Park. The sprawling grounds contain numerous things to do, like World Expo Memorial Museum, which offers a look into the last 200 years of expo history, and Daejeon Expo Memorial Hall, a replica of the 1993 Daejeon World Expo. A musical fountain and children’s playground also are places to visit within EXPO Science Park.

National Science Museum

National Science Museum features hands-on experiences, a planetarium and an impressive outdoor museum with exhibits of model airplanes and airboats. A permanent exhibit showcases more than 4,000 scientific displays. Children and adults can take part in several workshops, including a HAM radio demonstration, model airplane class, computer classes and educational science programs. National Science Museum first opened in 1926 and was named a national museum in 1949.

This outdoor wonderland is the largest man-made urban arboretum in South Korea and contains three unique sections that showcase Korea’s diverse nature.
