Guest services can be found on Level 2, next to Tommy Hilfiger. Guest services is closed for most public holidays, though Birkenhead Point Outlet Center itself is still open. Special events are occasionally held at Birkenhead Point Outlet Center. For hours of operation during special events, the customer service department will be able to tell you of any altered opening or closing times.

Location & How to Get There

Birkenhead Point Outlet Center is found at 19 Roseby St, Drummoyne. Getting to the outlet is incredibly easy, as it is just 6 kilometers (3.7 miles) from Sydney Central Business District (CBD). Birkenhead Point Outlet Center is right on Sydney Harbour. Visitors can catch a bus down Victoria Road.

Alternatively, travelers can take the Shopper Hopper ferry service on a 20-minute ride on Sydney Harbour, leaving from Circular Quay and Darling Harbour. The ferry service operates every day, and will pass iconic attractions such as Cockatoo Island, the Sydney Opera House, and the Harbour Bridge. Shopper Hopper tickets are $14 one-way or $23 for a return ticket, per person. Children up to age 4 can ride the Shopper Hopper free.

Luggage Storage Lockers

Store your bags in the convenient luggage storage lockers that are now available at Birkenhead Point Outlet Center. There are a range of sizes to choose from, and the rate is based on the locker size and length of time you will need to use it.

The small lockers are meant for back packs, hand bags, and carry-on luggage. The rates are:

• 0 to 4 hours, $6
• 4 to 8 hours, $8
• 8 to 12 hours, $10
• 12 to 24 hours, $12

The large lockers are more suitable for large backpacks, suitcases, or strollers that you don’t want to pack around the outlet center. The rates for the large lockers are:

• 0 to 4 hours, $8
• 4 to 8 hours, $10
• 8 to 12 hours, $12
• 12 to 24 hours, $14

The luggage lockers can be found on Level 2, in the corridor next to Tommy Hilfiger. They are self-operated, with a payment machine nearby.

Wheelchairs

Complimentary wheelchairs are offered by Birkenhead Point Outlet Center to help make your visit more comfortable. These can be booked from Guest Services on Level 2. Visitors need valid proof of identity in order to book a wheelchair. Advance bookings can be made by calling (02) 9812 8800.

Visitor Passport

Both domestic and international tourists can receive the Birkenhead Point Outlet Center Visitor Passport. This provides guests with access to exclusive discounts and offers on housewares, luxury brands, fashion, and more. Valid proof of identity is required to redeem the Visitor Passport. It is only available to visitors who live at least 50kms from the outlet. Visitor Passports are complimentary and can be picked up from Guest Services, found on Level 2.

Parents shopping at Birkenhead Point Outlet Center can take advantage of several facilities and amenities offered just for families. Kid-friendly features like an indoor play area, private feeding areas and even short-term nanny services make shopping at Birkenhead Point Outlet Center a stress-free experience.

The Parents Room

On Level 3, located behind The North Face and near Muffin Break, guests can find the Parents Room. Here there are private feeding areas and microwaves, as well as change tables,diaper disposal bins, and toddler-friendly toilets.

Lighthouse Play Gym

The Lighthouse play gym is the latest update to Birkenhead Point Outlet Center. This play area features a triangle deck climb and a spiral slide. There is a sphere look-out with gadgets and a steering wheel, as well. The Lighthouse play gym is on the ground floor directly across from Jean Louis Joseph Deli Cafe.

• This play area is open for children up to 8 years of age, but it is best suited to children from ages 4 to 6 years old. There are two other play areas inside Birkenhead Point Outlet Center, which are suitable for children under the age of 6, and are more appropriate options for children under 3 years old. You can find these on Level 1 across from Sandler, and on Level 3 near Muffin Break and the Parents Room.

Shopping Nanny Service

Birkenhead Point Outlet Center offers busy parents the chance to get their shopping done, relax with a manicure, or catch up with a friend over coffee without the kids. The Shopping Nanny service here offers up to two hours of free child care from nannies with professional qualifications. Nannies are provided by Lullaby Nanny Share, the award-winning childcare service. The children are entertained and cared for in a fun, safe environment as parents do what they need to do.

• The Shopping Nanny service is available every day from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Bookings must be a minimum of one hour and a maximum of two hours per day.
