Zhongli Tourist Night Market contributes a large part to shopping experiences in Taoyuan. The market is the perfect place to mingle with locals, find souvenirs and sample Taiwanese street food. Visitors will want to spend some time roaming through the dozens of stalls that start setting up each evening, and if it’s a weekend or holiday, tourists can expect large crowds. The market is located on Xinming Road, at the intersection of Zhongyang West Road and Minquan Road.

Shihmen Reservoir

Xiao Wulai Skywalk
Another incredible respite in the mountains and gorges south of Taoyuan, Xiaowulai Skywalk sits above Xiao Wulai Waterfall and offers views through a glass walkway. The skywalk was the first of its kind built in Taiwan, and it’s geometrical pattern gives guests the feeling of walking on air! The whole region is dreamy and a spectacular place to spend a night!

Chiang Kai-shek Statue Park (Cihu Memorial Sculpture Park)
