Melbourne Airport provides flights to more than 30 domestic destinations, as well as international destinations in Asia, Europe, and North and South America. It serves as a hub for Qantas, Virgin Australia, Jetstar Airways, Tigerair Australia, and Regional Express Airlines. There are several different options for getting to and from Melbourne Airport. Your four main choices are taxi, rideshare, bus, or car rental.

  • Taxi – Taxi ranks are located right outside of the terminals at Melbourne Airport. There is a $4.50 access fee for taxi pickup from the airport in addition to the total fare, but no extra fee for drop-off. The drive to and from the airport and the Melbourne city center takes about 30 minutes.

Skybus service desks are located in each terminal, and a one-way ticket is just $19.75. Alternatively, Public Transport Victoria buses are also available from the Ground Transport Hub of Terminal 4.
