Aquaventure Slides, Rides, & Attractions
There’s no shortage of heart-stopping, blood-pumping thrills at Aquaventure Waterpark! Of the park’s more than 30 rides and attractions, eight of them are record-breaking, exhilarating water slides. These slides do require that riders be at least 3’11” (1.2m) or taller and weigh 110-297lbs (50-135kgs), but there is a children’s area with slides for smaller kids as well. There are additional rides for families and groups and some more low-key, relaxing options as well.
Body Slides
- Leap of Faith – Considered one of the world’s scariest water slides, it is a near-vertical nine-story drop from the face of the temple that then zips you along in a clear tunnel through a lagoon tank teeming with stingrays and sharks. Its height of 60 feet means you will experience free fall for a few seconds, but the landing is remarkably smooth.
- Poseidon’s Revenge – A body slide in which you are placed in a clear capsule so you can see everything as the floor gives way and you drop, reaching speeds of 37mph (60 km/h) and soaring through backward loops over this gigantic 380ft (116m) run. It is considered one of the most frightening rides in the middle east.
- Slitherine – Featuring the world’s first dual suspended body slides, race your friend or family member as you go down 31m in a partially transparent tube Aquaventure Water Park is home to the world’s first timed double slide within a slide experience. At the end of the 182m-long ride, check your time to see who was the fastest.
Inner Tube Slides
- The Stinger, The Falls, The Storm, & The Surge – These are inner tube slides that propel you like a water roller coaster through wild turns and twisted labyrinths before depositing you in the lazy river.
- Shark Attack – In a single or two-person inner tube, zip down a clear tube which slows down enough at the end for you to take a good look at the sharks swimming around you in the lagoon.
Group Rides
- Zoomerango – This popular slide features a 6-person making this a great ride for families or groups of friends to enjoy together. Standing at 25m tall and 156m long, the ride’s plummets and verticals create the feeling of weightlessness before dropping you down a 14m vertical wall.
- Aquaconda – Measuring 210m in length, 25m in height, and over 9m in width, this is the world’s largest water slide tube. It fits a six-person family tube ride and takes you through a series of tight twists and turns while clocking speeds up to 35kph.
For Kids
- Splashers Island is the kid-friendly waterslide section, with eight slides that are perfect for those under the height and/or weight requirements. It also features a large shipwreck play structure, a relaxing zone with seating, and convenient access to the lazy river. There’s also the big bucket that holds 1400 liters of water and dumps it on the heads of swimmers below.
River Rides
- The Rapids – This course is 1.6km long and uses 15,000,000 liters of fresh water to take you on an inner tube adventure. It is the longest river in the region and is currently the only river ride that has multiple river rapids, wave surges, and waterfalls with sunbathing spots along the shore.
- The Torrent – This is a 700m water-tube experience for families that gives a thrilling river ride through Atlantis and has a wave generator that creates surges and swells over 1m high.
- The Lazy River– The lazy river is a 2.3km river ride that also features tidal waves, tidal pools, and water rapids. It is the longest river ride in the Middle East, taking a solid 45 minutes to float you around the park, and a great way to relax while still having fun and staying cool.
Other Activities & Attractions
- Shark Safari – Get some time with marine animals as you walk along the floor of the lagoon along with the sharks or enter the waters to interact and feed the hungry Cownose rays while wearing the high-tech underwater sea-trek helmet.
- Aquaventure Beach– The water park is unique in that is has its own stretch of private beach for its guests. At 700m long, the beach offers pristine white sand, clear waters, and unbelievable views. You can also learn how to surf and paddleboard, go kayaking or pedal-boating or just participate in your favorite beach activities.
- Atlantean Flyer – Soar over breathtaking views of Aquaventure Waterpark and the city of Dubai at 65m on the Middle East’s longest zipline. It’s also the world’s first zipline that is integrated into a waterslide tower, and the entire trip takes just one minute.
- Surf’s Up Wave Rider – Try your hand at surfing or bodyboarding on a real surfboard with a high-tech machine that replicates endless real ocean waves.
- Wavehouse Dubai – When you’re finished with the water, get friends and family together at the Wavehouse. Hit the bar or chill on the terrace while the kids compete in a multi-level obstacle course or in a round of bowling. Enjoy dinner and cocktails at Wavehouse Dubai, where there is happy hour, girls’ night, and sports night drink specials.

Additional Experiences
And if all that wasn’t enough, Aquaventure Waterpark offers additional experiences for guests who want to get up-close-and-personal with actual ocean mammals. Access to these locations and programs are not included in the price for a regular entry ticket into Aquaventure Waterpark, but they offer once-in-a-lifetime experiences for those who are more “hands-on” with their water adventures.
Dolphin Bay
For those who adore marine life and want to interact with them, one option at Aquaventure Water Park is to visit Dolphin Bay. At Dolphin Bay, guests can mingle and swim with the pod of bottlenose dolphins in one of the world’s most sophisticated dolphin habitats. Each person gets a 15-minute orientation with a marine mammal specialist, wetsuit and locker rentals, free refreshments, and a full 30 minutes in the water. Purchasing any of the Dolphin Bay options also grants you unlimited access to Aquaventure Water Park for the day! General tickets include a confirmed time slot and are the most expensive, while cheaper tickets are sold without confirmed time slots, and UAE residents pay a discounted price as well.
